Great job down there in DC.
It just cracks me up that so many of the signs read "No Blood For Oil". That chant was a lie back in the early 90's, as it is now, but that's all the anti-war protesters have left to rely on: lies.
If anything, freeing up these mideast countries will allow the populace in those countries to share in the oil revenues, and not just be hoarded by the oppressive leaders. Unless these anti-war protesters are really pro-totalitarians, I don't get their point.

"I always enjoyed the "Woodlands Resort" outside of Avoca..."Now this is wierd. I have a soccer tournament tomorrow (coach) in Wilkes Berre. Between games I will be watching football at, you guessed it, Woodlands Resort. This well kept secret is a pleasure to go to. When I was on the road all the time I stayed there.
Reluctant to say this, I will. This Mafia place is great. This place makes the Sopranos look like the Partridge Family.
Hey Mustang, you have good taste.

Thanks SO MUCH. Sorry so much you couldn't come. If it's any consolation, it's *really* hard to stay warm for 8 hours in 20 degree weather.

"you all"
BTW, I'm just a flunkie, the one that left early in fact to get warm! But I'm sure our DC Chapter mainstays will come and read this thread and enjoy it later.
At least on the local news tonight, they're broadcasting us. The veterans MOVEOUT group was great too.

MudPuppy and family checking in. We made it back to Fredericksburg and are in the process of thawing out.
I was so proud of my husband and kids for being there and sticking it out in that cold weather all day.
We discussed the days events all the way home.
We all learned something special today!
Semper Fi and God Bless America!!

Thanks very much for volunteering to help on the phone. It is appreciated. Actually, I still haven't caught up with this thread completely so I don't know how much the mainstream media during the day also kept you guys informed of us. I'm about to see -- lol, since I wasn't watching TV, I'm now kinda going to learn from you guys about what I missed or didn't from the alternate reality of telivision.

lol -- perhaps.
Damn -- wish I had met you!! I think it's GREAT that you guys get so excited and come all this way to attend.
People ask why we don't have more -- well, the leftists bus theirs in from all over. There aren't enough Republicans in DC to DO a respectable rally! It's *great* to have you guys travel this far and participate. You're very special to do so.
So you have an additional award of my sincere admiration.

maybe you did meet me :)
I had the Green Bay Packers jacket on, hubby is a Retired Marine (had the Gulf War hat and carried a big flag) and the 2 teenagers that attended were mine.
Anyway, it was an awesome experience - especially for my kids.
