The Park Police said the permit is for 30,000. The organizers said this morning there would be 200,000 in DC and 100,000 in SFO. The various news readers have been saying 'thousands' of various denominations.Probably about 25K then, max.

(Note to those running the rally)
I hate to revisit the sore subject of Port-O-Lets but just a reminder that after the last rally some Clymer (on DU) was bragging about getting into the rally and urinating on the toilet paper as revenge for people controlling who uses them.
For those who don't know, the people running the good guys rallies have to rent Porta Potties and they aren't cheap. Where the Park police usually put the good guys is right next to a major thouroughfare and almost all of the scummoids have to pass it to get to their waste of time (anti American rally). Our friends running the good guys rally do let the elderly and children who need the facilites use them, but they aren't public property, like the libs think they should be.

Probably about 25K then, max. Probably correct minus the late arrivals, waiting for the Temp to climb... and minus the early departures because of cold extremeties. MSNBC of course interviewed the young and the old arriving by bus from Vermont. Someone reported on a handful of buses arriving from upstate NY.

That's the reason, I'm afraid, that you don't usually see pro-USA demonstrations, and are instead subjected to the rantings of America's lunatic fringe.
Most normal, patriotic Americans work for a living.

I just saw some participants in the Patriots Rally here in Washington, DC on my local NBC station. The reporter interviewed Kathryn Wood. She mentioned FreeRepublic. She had a good 3 or 4 minutes to talk. I liked when she mentioned the different flags (Palestinian, Hezbollah, Iraqi, etc.,) that will be displayed at the anti-war rally. She was great!

When I heard that people were being bussed in for the protests. I was wondering, were the busees paying the freight, or is this being payed for by some other means. Rent a crowd says a whole lot about the motivation of the protesters, and then why was I not surprised that SF was one of the locations for protest.
To the DC Chapter, a great day fending off the I don't get it crowd. I just learned (as seen on tv) we have a policy of preemtive first strike. I guess I am totally out of touch with reality.

The Today show started off this morning with a several-minutes-long interview with one of the leaders of ANSWER, some leathery middle-aged woman who spoke like a parody of a late-30s Marxist. She of course was tossed only softball questions, and no time was given to the other side.
To their credit, though, they immediately moved on to the Lacy Petersen story, which tells you just how important in the grand scheme of things this little party of theirs is going to be, regardless of how many show up.

FOX and FRIENDS NOT FRIENDS of DC FREEPERS.
They are ONLY mentioning the anti war protestors.
Once again FOX joins the ranks of the biased media.

Most normal, patriotic Americans work for a living. Yes. However on January 22, thousands of normal hard working Americans make their way to DC for the March for Life.

Just heard from FreeTheHostages, Just arrived at the rally, She was calling from her cellphone in a cab.
A lot of people were there already. Angelwood was holding op a "SUPPORT THE TROOPS" sign. Channel four was there. So were the peaceniks UGH!
I few FTH could see on the fringes.
FTH told me a funny story about some of those peacniks trying to get up a collection to get a Banana-nut muffin! LOL!
