...there's no place to make donations. It feels like a front for someone or a bunch of someones, but there's no clue as to who's behind the org, not even a listing of the board of directors, if they have one, if they're a registered lobbyist for a country, nada, zip, zilch.

All good clues, that right there would lead one to think it's a front, a pretty logical progression, I'd say. It's well-funded by someone (or some govt) then.

Either this guy is being blackmailed bigtime, or he's an absolute traitor.

Did you see the Chris Hitchens article earlier that claimed the Iraqis had given some of the junior weapons inspectors Swiss bank accounts?

I'd bet Ritter got one.

I second that, Kilborn. I hope you stick around, keep an open mind too, and learn something other than what you're reading on other websites, and getting from the national media. You'll be amazed in a short time. But keep an open mind.

I didn't see that Hitchens article, I'm going to look for it. Thanks for that. I'd believe it too. This makes a lot of sense.

I can envision a scenario where we know the locations of some real nasty stuff but are not going to reveal these because doing so would alert the Iraqi's to move them. Further, to tell the inspectors about them would tip off the Iraqi's as to where/who the leaks were coming from. So we may be giving the inspectors isolated, relatively low-level information that won't compromise sources but eventually will have the desired smoking gun effect. When the war starts, our priorities will be to capture/isolate/destroy the worst locations so that Iraq can't move or use the weapons within.

You'll feel the addiction soon enough, creeping through your bones, waking you up at 5am to come catch up. You may want to include your spouse as very soon you won't have much time for him/her :)

"He's gotten hit hard from his opponents becuase he doesn't share anything. Sharing this mother lode of information with leadership or the general public would be in the best interest for all, including Bush, wouldn't it?"

It definitely would not. It would be an act of insanity to lay all evidence on the table right now. 1: There's a chance of pulling this off without a shot being fired. A slim chance, admittedly, but still a chance. 2: As long as this situation continues, we have the undivided attention of ALL countries which harbor and finance terrorists. We need their undivided attention because 3: Scaring the $hit out of them is the only way to make them begin towing the line on terrorism.

Finally, we have 4: Never, EVER show your cards before the hand is played out. You endanger your agents.

Also it is in the best interests of United States national security to ALWAYS keep them geussing as to just HOW capable and high tech our intelligence gathering equipment is. Therefore, some sources will not be revealed for some time, until the techniques used to gather said information have been upgraded or replaced. Even then we should never give up the names of agents who aided in intelligence gathering, for obvious reasons.

Saudi Arabia would back overthrow led by Iraqis

By Barbara Slavin, USA TODAY

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi Arabia would support a U.S.-assisted overthrow of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein as long as it is led by the Iraqi people, Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal said Sunday.

In an interview one day after Vice President Cheney met with Saudi officials, Saud indicated that a coup against Saddam is preferable to a reprise of the Gulf War in 1991. He said another massive ground invasion could fail and cause more suffering to the Iraqi people.

"Regime change in Iraq will only happen if the Iraqi people do it," Saud said. Asked whether he favors assistance from U.S. intelligence agencies, which have reactivated plans to oust Saddam, he replied, "What internal change has ever been done without assistance from the outside?"

Saud is the highest level Saudi official to publicly endorsed President Bush's call for Saddam's ouster. His comments differ from those of other Arab leaders, who have argued publicly during Cheney's visit to the region that the United States should not launch a new front in the war on terrorism against Iraq.

Bush has accused Saddam of seeking to develop nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. U.S. officials plan to meet in Europe this spring with former Iraqi officers who have defected from Saddam's military forces and might be willing to lead a coup against him.

"On the other hand, it looks like (and I love my president, don't get me wrong) this might have been leaked info in order to deflect the Michigan race preference story that would have dominated tonight's big 3 newscasts"

HUH?? WHY would the president wish to deflect the racism of Michigan U, after his excellent speech on its unConstitutionality yesterday?
