CALL YOUR SENATORS -- TELL THEM GOP WON THE ELECTION -- GOP COMMITTEE CHAIRMEN NEEDED ASAP

For those of you that may not know, the DemocRATs in control of the Senate Minority led by ms. clinton (don't be fooled by anyone -- she is calling the shots) have decided not to recognize the results of the last election and are maintaining Committee Chairmanship until the Republicans give them what they want.

The Memo below from Roll Call in October laid out their plans. What the DemocRATs did not expect was a Republican controlled Senate so now they are refusing to vote on a continuing resolution to keep the Government running and thus hand over control of the Senate Committees. It is to try and force Republicans to cave into their demands or Republicans will get no Committee Chairmanships. What they want is equal funding for Committees and 50/50 shared committees which is not an option.

Right now we have 11 newly elected Senators that do not have Committee assignments because of this DemocRAT Obstructionist tactic.

Call your DemocRAT Senators (you have my sympathy) and let them know as a taxpayer you will not tolerate this stunt of theirs to withhold Committee Chairmanships from Republicans. Remind them that there are 11 new Senators without Committees and you are holding them responsible for this attempt on the part of the DemocRATs to hijack the Senate!

If you have Republican Senators, call them and tell them to keep up the fight and that we are behind them 100%!

I just called her office again and said she needs to get back to letting the winners of the election in 2002 do their jobs. The economy because of her husband is a mess and that is top priority and she best keep her trap shut today and they hung up on me. Again!

I just phoned both offices in DC, said I was a constituent, known Barbara for many years, and wish them to tell their leadership to stop obstructing the formation of the 108th Congress.

I said they were overdoing it like the Wellstone funeral and their actions were driving democrat voters away. (I actually sounded like a concerned democrat.) Maryland is inaugurating a Republican Governor in less than an hour from now, so Sarbanes and Mikulski know firsthand that even in the People's Paradise of Maryland voters can find the -R- lever.

Get on the line and e-mail or call Hasert or Tom De Lay and tell them we are more than sick and tired of Tom Daschle sticking it to Americans and you would like Linda Daschle to go pe-----no not in so many words, tell them that Linda Daschle's clients will no longer have the ear of Republican Senators, they will not let her in to lobby for Boeing, N. West Airlines etc.

I just called Daschle's office and told them that Daschle is acting like a kindergarten kid. It's not fair...just because they won the election. It's not fair!

LOL! It was kind of fun. I encourage everyone to call his office. I also said that I am not a constituent of Senator Daschle but his actions are effecting all of us, not just South Dakotans.

Anyway, if you call his office, the message machine says "if you are calling from South Dakota please call the toll free number, 1-800, etc; if you are calling from outside SD and want to leave a voice message please stay on the line or if you want to talk to a receptionist please press zero." It's somthing like that. Anyway, I pressed zero and got through right away.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I understand that the party leaders assign members to the Committees which would make me think that Daschle is the one allowing her to be on the Armed Services Committee. Although that is like saying clinton chose herself since she is running daschle.

I know Leahy was removed from the Intelligence Committee for leaking and what do the RATs do -- give him Judiciary! Something is really wrong there.
