Thanks for the list of things to send our troops. I was struggling with what to send.

My son says that they have so much junk food in their tent that they will never eat it all, and I know they don't have a lot of personal storage space.

He tells me he likes reading now since there isn't much to do. He just finished The Rumsfeld Way and asked for Guiliani's book, so I just sent that to him. He wants Sean Hannity's Let Freedom Ring next, and of course he has a Bible to read when he runs out of other books.

His selections are all new and hardback so they would be too expensive to send to just anyone.

I am trying to remember some good books that I could get in paperback. Being a girl, I'm not sure my tastes in reading would interest my son, or any soldier, but I want to send books that have to do with valor, principles and courage. One book I will try to find is The Virginian which I read in high school. Don't guess this generation reads westerns at all, but I think it is a great book about principles.

I would greatly appreciate other suggestions for books to send.
