Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.

Ahoy, Freepers!  Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!

This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day.  It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here.  Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.

We strongly urge you to register ASAP.  We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival.  From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there.  We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.

As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!)  Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.

We've got a great contest planned for later.  A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman.  This time it may be you!

Bookmark this thread.  We'll keep you posted as plans evolve.  Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.

Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers!  Climb aboard today!

This page is for general comments about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

Congratulations, Trikebuilder. Your ship came in and we're so happy for you. We'll see you on board in May.

Of course, now you'll have to buy a round for the jolly freeper cruisers who will all order the finest imported champagne in your honor!

Cheers!

STOP THE PRESSES!!!

ATTENTION ALL TOM FREEPIE CONTESTANTS!!!

THERE WILL BE A NEW DRAWING!!!

TRIKEBUILDER HAS SENT ME THE FOLLOWING VIA FREEPMAIL...

Dear Dittomom I was stunned to find out I had won(!), and had to sit a moment and think about it. I checked with my wife, and found to my chagrin that I will be attending her fishing club tournement as part of the support crew (as I promised too a year ago!), and so I must say thank you (many times over), but ask that you reward this to another contestant. The contest was a lot of fun, and the entries were jewels of creativity and humor! Please thank all who made the contest happen, I know it took a lot of work to make it run so smoothly! As a new guy on the board, you have all made me feel welcome, and this was a hoot! thanks for the great fun! Trike

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

I WILL CONTACT JIM ROBINSON TO SELECT ANOTHER NUMBER.

Only the Cruise Contest Committee has the list of contestants, so as soon as Mr. Robinson selects another number, I will post the name of a new winner!

HANG ON!!!

While Ole Man Winter continues to hold most of the country in his icy grip, it's time to start thinking ahead to a warm vacation getaway for a week.

Besides the relaxational change for your body, consider the benefits of cruise time in the startlingly clear, unpolluted air in the Caribbean, plus plenty of warm sunlight which is essential for vitamins and good health.

The ship has a gym with equipment for workouts, several pools, a massage salon, and of course, the deck lounges circling the ship for sunning, reading or napping. Every morning, many cruisers get up early and jog alone or with a group of friends, doing as many laps as they want around the ships main deck. You can really get or stay in shape!

Or just relax on the sunny or shady side of the deck while the azure Caribbean waters around you present a calming atmosphere......a definite salutory change from our hectic lives, indeed!

Our astonishingly-reasonable group rates are still holding for a while (holding our breath because our time limit for group registration expired a few days ago) plus there's the $50 per person discount off the rates published on our registration form. In addition, there's some nice freeper donated gifts for those who register now.

Leave that confining office cubicle or kitchen behind you for a blissful week of outdoor and indoor fun with your fellow freepers without lifting a finger for work. Heaven is!

Plus, you can participate in and contribute your input during the conservative activism programs we'll be holding on several of the mornings at sea.

Pick up your phone right now and dial toll free 1-800-890-7583 (Pacific time).

Ask for Wanda, our lovely and ever-patient travel rep, and tell her you're a freeper. She's so nice and helpful we consider her an honorary freeper! It costs you nothing to phone for any inquiry you might have and Wanda is da gal!

Awwwwwwwwwwww! Thanks for remembering!

But of course, you are right about celebrating with a cruise. Cruise lines, and Carnival is no exception, are great when it comes to special occasions on board. They really do know how to make someone celebrating a birthday, anniversary, reunion or whatever feel special. And you can always go the extra mile and order a gift to be sent to their cabin!

I checked the Carnival website and they have several types of gift packages available...

The itinerary:

Cozumel - A favorite spot in the islands for snorkling, scuba in crystal clear waters; my favorite shopping spot for colorful, whimsical, usable native crafts; reasonably-priced silver and turquoise jewelry; indoor and outdoor cantinas with wonderful Mexican food and ice-cold Margueritas; an amazing evening Mexican musical floor show in a popular Cozumel night club/restaurant which caters to cruise pasengers.

Grand Cayman Island - Famous Seven-Mile Beach, great swimming in warm water, find coral pieces in the water with your toes; Freeper Beach Party with eats on the sandy stretch.

Ocho Rios - Rain forest atop mountain with breathtaking vistas, bring your camera; Dunn's River Falls to climb; open-air market loaded with native crafts; Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee to bring home with you.

Life is laid-back in the islands and on the ship. Get away to a different world for a week. Phone Wanda at toll-free 1-800-890-7583 to register right now before our special group rate expires. Or freepmail me at "MinuteGal" if you have any questions.

The sea gulls to see us, the fishies to hear us

A cell phone to ring (oh dear!)
