Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.

Ahoy, Freepers!  Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!

This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day.  It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here.  Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.

We strongly urge you to register ASAP.  We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival.  From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there.  We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.

As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!)  Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.

We've got a great contest planned for later.  A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman.  This time it may be you!

Bookmark this thread.  We'll keep you posted as plans evolve.  Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.

Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers!  Climb aboard today!

This page is for general comments about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

Das ist nicht sehr leicht...

"The Germans will be on our side - if we pay them enough," George remarked.

Not as good as the French, but the best I could come up with on short notice.

Folks, get your reservation deposit in now before January 27 after which our low group fare rate can no longer be guaranteed by the cruise line. The remainder of the fare is not due till March 14.

Remember, you can deduct $50 per person off the rates published in our registration form link. PLUS for the next 10 cabins reserved, the party will receive some dandy donated FReeper gifts! Can't beat this deal.

To make your reservation, pick up the phone and dial the toll-free number of our travel agent and register direct. The number is on the registration form. Don't wait till the last minute....we don't want one freeper chillun left behind!

I have a distinct hunch this May/June cruise will be one huge celebratory time for freepers to be together like our freeper Inaugural Ball in DC. What a wildly happy event that was!

Not only is our ship "good-omenly" (heheh) named the Triumph (take THAT, Saddam!) but its main lounge is called the Capitol. They must have known we freepers were coming!

Let's Rock the Boat!

The Grand Cayman Island is absolutely beautiful. I do believe six languages are spoken there. If I could retire tomorrow, that's where I would want to live!

Don't miss the turtle farm on the Grand Cayman Island, said Slip slowly.

Then there's a place called "Hell." I must have sent ten postcards from that place. That truly is the name of the town. It kind of looks that way.

We loved cruising so much because of the last FReeper cruise that we went on yet another one in December of last year.

We missed the hurricane that had blown through the week before so all the turtles (torti?) had to be removed and put in new bunkers (I can't think of a better word). It should be absolutely gorgeous again. I have a photo of me with a little one. They are beautiful little creatures.

Okay, since I've been there, you have to see the Johnson Mansion (ala Johnson & Johnson). It's on the seven mile beach. That beach is truly amazing. Seven miles of fresh sand.

Oh, and where the bus stops, you are next door to the Governor's Mansion. Another spot to see.
