Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.

Ahoy, Freepers!  Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!

This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day.  It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here.  Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.

We strongly urge you to register ASAP.  We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival.  From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there.  We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.

As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!)  Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.

We've got a great contest planned for later.  A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman.  This time it may be you!

Bookmark this thread.  We'll keep you posted as plans evolve.  Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.

Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers!  Climb aboard today!

This page is for general comments about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

You and Guennie were the best cabinmates I could have asked for!!! What a great time we had exploring Key West. Not to mention and all those fabulous dinners on board with Freeper friends!

Thanks, Leni!

Cyber and I are trying to get onboard. Some things are coming up at that time.

But for all of those who are thinking of enjoying the chance of a lifetime to be with FReepers, GO ON THIS CRUISE! You will not regret it.

Freepers, you can begin making your air transportation reservations immediately. All dates are cast in concrete. We reached our minimum reservations goal with time to spare. There should be some good bargains around at this early date. Tip us off if you find any good deals to the Miami airport.

We began with obtaining an extremely reasonable group rate for this cruise. Now we have the $50 per person discount. Your cost can go even lower if you want or need a cabin roomie. There are singles as well as families already signed on. Please refer to reply # 70 on the Bahama Mama thread for info on cabin-sharing. You can have a full week's vacation fit for a king with virtually EVERYTHING included at very low cost, indeed!

Darlie & I are looking forward to our second FRN cruise. Last year was great but too short. This type of cruise will give us a chance to really enjoy all the amenities of cruising!

Great animated graphic, dittomom! I tried to pick out my cabin but the ship zoomed by too fast, LOL!

Durn! I'd like to see your graphic, lowbridge, but all I get is THE DREADED RED X. Tried right clicking, refresh and all that, but....nada. Sigh,

It's a 9:30 to 3:30 oriented view of a Desitny Class Carnival cruise ship heading lower right. Shot from the top front right of the ship, the caption across the upper deck reads, "The Freep Boat". It looks nice.

An echo of your reminder to book airfare quickly. Since this trip will be during the season, I expect cheap airfares to be hard to come by. I'll be checking Hotwire, my ace-in-the-hole, tonight.

Great graphic, lowbridge. I'm getting cabin fever!

Strela, let us know if you come up with some air bargains from your source.

Bahama Mama is now posting tips for what to pack and wear on the cruise. It's on the Bahama Mama Q & A link. The first info-blurb is for our lovely Freeperette cruisers (women and children first, heehee). It's reply # 121. Go take a look-see, gals!
