It's too bad I missed it. Unfortunately, it is hard to make a judgment when you are listening on the radio!
Oh, well. I'm sure it'll be on SportsCenter or something.

'holding - pass interference'There is no such a thing as "holding-pass interference"
It's one or the other with seperate and distinct penalties imposed for each infraction.

Does FL always have sore losers?

OSU National Champs Yahoo !!
To: John D
It's okay... he beat me too.
To: ilosetoo
Gee, let's all blame it on the system.....they should have a sudden death in college just like the pros.....
I'm still pissed FSU got the gift in 1993 when ND beat them and lost to Boston College. FSU got to go to the national champ game.....
Here's my advice.....get over it.
To: ItsBacon
Only two occasions that I will cheer on Ohio State. When they are playing Michigan and in a bowl game (except in the unlikely event that they are playing Michigan State)...
Great game !!!

LOL! Good one!

You're right, Miami got screwed. That was a bad call in first OT.If I were a Miami fan, I'd be sooo mad! The ref on top of the play called an incomplete pass. So why would another ref change his call??

But the flag didn't come until after the ball passed the receiver. If it had been as you describe, it would have already been out.
The ref made a guess and 99 times out of a hundred it would have been right. This time, it was only half right.
It didn't decide the game though.

You're right....not pass interference, it was defensive holding....
To: panther33
Oh, well. I'm sure it'll be on SportsCenter or something. If they just show the angle from behind the end-zone, it's not interference. Only until you see how the Miami player was grabbing and grasping after the 5 yd buffer can you appreciate the refs call. It's a call I wish was made more often, like hooking in hockey, they get away with it way too often.
Go Blue!

To: ncweaver
So why would another ref change his call??Because he had a view of the db holding.

Sounds more like a sore gore loser.I had no stake in the game either way.
Well, OK, I do find the "The" pretentious and silly, but I try not to let that cloud my judgment.
To: hole_n_one
Sorry, not true. Holding a reciever is integral to pass interference. Maybe you can explain why the ref signalled "holding" and then "pass interference" one right after the other than?

No. We just hate to lose.
Capitulate? Never!
To: freedom1st
As a Minnesota Vikings fan, my advice to you is to get over it and focus on more important things in life, like your family.
There are Raider fans out there that know what I'm talking about.
That being said, good luck, Raiders.
