I just sent Fox News an e-mail requesting that this treasonous rat be called out about her statement. Let Sean Hannity have at her.

Sure makes me feel good to know that some of our tax dollars goes to keeping NPR up and running... barf...

I watched the segment. Her smug grin when she said that was eerie and telling. IMHO I think she said what most liberals in charge were too disciplined to admit aloud. Ratner is a very sick person. At her age and level of authority, she has to answer for her comments.

My stating so is definately not "Hate Mail".

Not sure why I have this hunch--which could be off the wall--but . . .

Do you or anyone you know have any Marine connections that might be accessed to try and verify doug from upland's narrative about Shrillery throwing coffee in the Marine's face?

You can see the thread at:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/811070/posts

I have 0.0% doubt it's true, but it would be wonderful to have any level of confirmation from another source.

Oh yes I agree with you here Billybob,

I was watching that segment and this was clearly a severe freudean slip that she tried to cover by being overt about it. She seems to be a victim of her own propoganda. She is unable to seriously consider any other recourse than to hope for and subvert the systems toward (consciously or unwittingly) the deaths of thousands of Americans.

This kind of hunger for ABSOLUTE power is precisely the kind of thing that needs to be trumpeted out to the media outlets and demonstrated in the town squares. It is a signature of the democrat campaigns and smells like they are being pressured by special interest groups to win at any cost, even the lives of american soldiers. This win at any cost attitude is the same shameless arrogance that made a deal with Bush 41 to raise taxes, then stabbed him in the back for breaking his no new taxes pledge, followed by dancing on his political grave to the tune of 'It's the economy stupid'.

I could go on but in the interest of brevety will just say that firing this woman might not be the answer, we should keep her in our employ and parade the villified remains of her destroyed reputation in the streets at the end of a stick until she resigns in shame and ignomy.

ps: Isnt that a Live Nuclear Plant now?

It wasn't the loss of young men that caused that RAT to quit. It was commie Walter Crankite coming out publicly against the war that caused Landslide Lyndon to turn tail.

Good morning, my friend. You obviously burn the candle at both ends.

Do you have an e-mail link for World Net Daily?

Would you be kind enough to ping the people who have major ping lists, and would be interested in this subject? My gut feeling is that Ratner is on the ropes with Fox and WND right now. Punching her won't do the trick. But punching her bosses might put her down for the count.

As a boxing trainer tells his fighter, "Hit early. Hit often. Hit again until your opponent drops."

I hope my next conversation with Ratner can be quite short, "You got what's coming to you."

I expect American attention, personnel and equipment to go East, rather than come home, in order to confront North Korea.

Congressman - we were at a neighborhood gathering New Years Day where a retired Navy officer said that there was a peaceful way to end the N.Korean situation. He said all that needed to be done was to put 25,000 Japanese in military gear and stretch them across the North-South Korean border and both countries would shut up and behave themselves. He claims the Koreans - north and south - are petrified of the Japanese because of what they did to Koreans in years past. I don't know my history well enough, but he was adamant that this would work. Do you have any background knowledge of this?

You're right, the NK Nuclear Plant is now "live," unlike the one in Iraq that the Israelis bombed when it was merely under construction. We're later in the game than they were. But the exact same principle applies.

Ellen Ratner...like Patty Murray, like Hillary Clinton, like Bill Clinton, like Osama Bin Laden...is hiding in a cave, surrounded by an elite team of enablers never to be held accountable for her words or her actions.

I ask those more computer-adept than me, to post up the links for Roger Ailes, head of Fox News, and Joseph Farrah, head of World Net Daily. Also a link for Neal Cavuto, since this happened on his Show.

No guarantees, but I believe emails to Fox News employees are of the format Firstname.Lastname@foxnews.com. Don't bother emailing the show addresses (like oreilly@foxnews.com or cavuto@foxnews.com; those are just general dumping grounds for all emails to their shows), tack on the first name.

And never underestimate the power of simply picking up the phone and cold calling. Fox is at 212-301-3000.

She just wasn't specific enough to go after her with Bobbybill's charges.

Perhaps, but Trent Lott was scuttled for less. After all, Lott never said segregation was groovy; it was just inferred. What's good for the gander should be good for the goose.

Oh, and Roger Ailes is DEFINITELY roger.ailes@foxnews.com. And he's known for often answering his own mail (maybe always, I don't know).

She just wasn't specific enough

How specific does she need to be? Isn't it enough that she wants America to fail (in any way)? It is (perhaps not equally, but still) disturbing to hear liberals wishing that the economy would tank, so Bush won't be re-elected. To me this is simply un-American.

Let's have her explain before we attribute things to her that simply are not there in the text of her statement.

She said Bush would not be reelected if the war in Iraq went badly. She said she doesn't want Bush reelected. At the very least, we can assume she's rooting for Saddam...no? Not unlike a player sitting on the bench rooting for the other team to get so far ahead that he gets a chance to play.
