The politically "incorrect" truth is that where the true God himself hasn't authorized beliefs, but where a different religion grows instead in this fallen world, its practitioners are subject to demonic involvement.
Worship is a spiritually dynamic relationship. If one doesn't worship the God who has actually authored our lives, one tunes his spiritual receiver to signals from another source, in the direction of whatever he is actually worshipping. Then, his wavelength so to speak, tends to get picked up by the false source that the Bible describes as "the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient." (Ephesians 2:2)
Does that sound narrow-minded to you? Even bigoted, to say such a thing? Well, put yourself in God's place, having given his loved and fallen ones free will. Wouldn't God be an individual, without multiple personality disorder, but with integrity? Since he loves us, wouldn't he be specific and consistent in how he chooses to recover his lost humans? Wouldn't he want us to know him for who he really is?
Wouldn't he be jealous of people worshipping other "gods" or attempting to worship him in ways he hadn't provided? Yet, he would be yearning for those he loves to know him (as he truly is). That is why he sends missionaries, to heal, witness and sometimes get murdered along the Way, as it has just happened in Yemen.
"Narrow is the way...."

If someday our current president is free to say that this "religion of peace" nonsense was promoted because it was necessary to establishing forward deployed launch platforms in otherwise hostile Arab states, then I'll be content.
In the meantime, I'm fairly certain that's what's going on.

We need a new section to the daily paper entitled
"Jihad News." When tallied daily, the carnage is incredible. There are multiple murders and bombings daily by Muslims against everyone else in the name of Islam and Jihad. There is a war on, and the opposition is not faint of heart.
As suggested by Daniel Pipes elsewhere today, we're going to have to kill a lot of Jihadis before this is over, so let's get busy.

[Arabic islm, submission, from aslama, to surrender, resign oneself, from Syriac alem, to make peace, surrender, derived stem of lem, to be complete. See lm in Semitic Roots.] Religion of Peace my ....foot.
The word Islam originates from the Arabic words islm which means "submission" and from aslama which means "to surrender".

Many times, people condemn and ridicule beliefs, values, and customs because of a lack of understanding. There indeed have been many examples of actions that can lead one to believe that the religion of Islam is not as Peaceful as it claims. However, the same can also be said of Christianity. We must not forget that many have been hung, raped, molested and brutally beaten under the name of Christianity. But, we do not condemn all Christians as rapists or child molesters. There is a passage in the Bible that states (please allow me to paraphase), he that is without sin should cast the first stone.

"What do those who do all this evil want? Land? No. Money? No. Political power? No. They want none of the things normally associated with individuals and groups who do such deeds. What, then, do they want? They want only to harm, to cause destruction and promote fear, to attack and kill the 'infidels. That is their reward."Actually, they simply want to "harm, to cause destruction and promote fear, to attack and to kill"...in order to achieve absolute political power and turn the entire world into a Utopia like Afghanistan under the Taliban...the infidels go first. After that - should they succeed, which they will not - will come their fellow Muslims.
The terrorists constitute the most vicious and bloodthirsty organized crime ring ever concieved of. They're even worse than the Third Way Democrats.

Islam Is a Religion of Peace
Why sure it is.
But once you hear the preconditions (the end of Israel, the conversion of the
populace of the USA to Islam)...you realize we shouldn't give these
peckerwoods a second's rest until they are all pushed back into the desert of Arabia and Yemen.
