NOW THAT'S what I call a party! Keep it going through the day and night! :-) Oschisms, I'm surprised at you! Going home!!! ;-)

I keep it going through the day and night by taking a four hour nap during the afternoon. :) We're not eighteen anymore. :) LOL

The nap was the only way I could see to having a normal Saturday night. Didn't wanna crash at 10 pm. Rather wake up then.

I'm so glad I got out of my sick bed, fought the traffic to the Holland Tunnel, and braved the maze of streets in Lower Manhattan. (I couldn't get angry at the mess that downtown is, as it all is a reminder of what was done to us and to those poor souls in the WTC.)

But -- I was glad I went, delighted to meet MadIvan and again see so many dear friends ---- and hope I didn't spread any viri around.

What a nice turnout! Lisa did a wonderful job and I'm sure she had her 'weather fingers' crossed. When an event is successful, it all looks so easy, but the 'behind the scene's work' is what makes it a success. Take a bow, Lisa!

It's fun to be with Freepers. I always find myself saying "I Freeped with so-and-so at this place or that place. I met so-and-so at that meeting or event. So-and-so did this or that with me (that doesn't sound right) together! It's just great being with like-minded people on the 'right' side!

I'm so glad you were able to make it -- definitely a once-in-a-lifetime thing!

As a resident of the neighborhood, I resent the tourists who clog up the streets around the WTC site (which is nothing more than a hole in the ground now) and treat it like a circus sideshow. I had to walk well out of my way to avoid them while heading home.

When we announced that we were having another party when you come to town someone said...LADIES ONLY..... of course a few feminist comments came from that...LOL...

Anyway thanks for sharing your sweetie with us...it was such a pleasure to have him with us. I am sure he told you about your gift from Dead. I am so happy that we had a wonderful party!
