I am off to Moran's to join the rest of the chapter in welcoming MadIvan to New York.

I will attempt to post using my pocket PC and my wireless modem as we haven't arranged for a modem connection with a laptop there is no sense on lugging around the extra weight in addition to my camera and camcoder.

We will try to upload some digital pictures as the party is progressing and hope that AT&T has a CDPD node nearby to transmit.

Barring that, we will continue the thread once we get home.

I just remembered an old joke:

Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, and Tipper Gore are flying on a plane to a fundraiser. The plane is crashed and all are killed instantly. They are then whisked to a large audience chamber to have a meeting with God, who is sitting in a giant throne.

God then says to Al, "Step forth, and identify yourself to Me."

Al replies, "I am Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States and Senator from Tennessee".

God replies, "You have done some bad things in this life, but I forgive you because you were a good father to your children - take your place at the right side of My throne."

Al complies. Then God addresses Tipper: "Identify yourself to Me."

Tipper says, " I am Tipper Gore, wife to Al, and former Second Lady of the United States".

God replies, "Yes, I know you My child - you did very well with trying to get explicit albums labelled. Take your place on the left side of My throne."

God then speaks to Hillary. "Identify yourself."

Hillary replies, "I am Hillary Rodham Clinton and YOU'RE IN MY CHAIR!"
