I am off to Moran's to join the rest of the chapter in welcoming MadIvan to New York.

I will attempt to post using my pocket PC and my wireless modem as we haven't arranged for a modem connection with a laptop there is no sense on lugging around the extra weight in addition to my camera and camcoder.

We will try to upload some digital pictures as the party is progressing and hope that AT&T has a CDPD node nearby to transmit.

Barring that, we will continue the thread once we get home.

Yes, it sure was. Beautiful and with a great chef. Is it really an old chapel? We DC folks behaved, too. Only broke out into "Hail, to the Redskins!" twice when the Giants scored!

After the festivities a small group of us decide to head toward's the South Street Seaport. On the way there we pass by the NY stock exchange decked out in holiday lights in the pattern of the US flag. The picture does not do it justice.

It was a fun night and the way Freepers celwebrate. Hope our guest MadIvan had as great a time on his visit to new York.

It was a good party! I'm glad we were able to get together and talk for awhile. Alisasny did a wonderful job and I'm looking forward to the next gathering whenever that may be.
