Interesting viewpoint of the PBS program. I have seen many people positively salivating over the wonderful world of Islam after that show.

It is so obvious that Muslims are not peaceful people. Just visit a Muslim board any day of the week and you hear about how evil the US is, how all Americans are POS infidels, and blah blah blah. One of the Muslims on a board I hit said horrible things about my daughter (just going to show these people have no shame) and I flipped out on him--told him that if I could, I'd find him and wage a little jihad of my own--like snapping his neck, for instance. I couldn't believe what this guy said--totally out of line. It just goes to show that Muslims have no respect for anything--even defenseless little kids.

I wonder if I will get in trouble for my scathing retort??........considering the fact that Islam is the new "cause"......

In the show, you stressed how the West should understand Islam. Why is America responsible for understanding every little and big culture and religion around the World, failing which we are branded bigots and racists? How about asking the Moslems if they could open their minds and hearts and understand the West? Perhaps they will slow down their terrorism, burning our flags and hijacking airplanes. Unfortunately, the Middle East has no clue about the American culture and they only judge us by Hollywood! How about US media educating Moslems about US culture and the virtues of our Constitution? Did that ever occur to you?

The unaccountable power of the entertainment media (especially journalism) particularly attracts those least disposed to restraint in the use (and abuse) of it.

Liberalism is demagoguery--the exploitation of emotion to trump logic--and that is the natural, easy, profitable PR approach of the media power.

When all of them in this country come out and tell us what they really feel and think, then I will start to listen.. All I hear now is silence, and a few small voices in the wilderness.

These small voices are not enough for me.. They are way too far and few between. This woman is one small voice and will/could probably suffer for it..
