Yeah, but think of dignitaries who had to shake it for matters of protocol.

Watching college Nancy Drew come alive in a ABC Disney movie is probably much more entertaining than Al Gore. I just woke up from a nap to make it tonight in a graveyard shift and do not need a day nightmare of Al Gore to stimulaate me, lol. I think I will skip this. I saw enough of him on Saturday Night Live. Thanks for the post though

Absolutely. What I often think about is how in the beginning they were screaming about civil liberties and at the same time complaining that if we got hit again it would be because Bush doesn't try hard enough to protect us. Let's put it this way...if he gets bin Laden, the media will complain that it took too long. If we get hit again, it will be because he's concentrating too much on Saddam. If Saddam hits us through a terrorist group, it will be because he didn't go after Saddam enough. The media are scum. Total scum.

"Grrrr...Bush spends 90% of his time trying to clean up clinton's messes."

Well, that's the way it has been since forever--every Republican administration I can remember that has followed a Democrat one has spent huge amounts of time and effort "fixing up" the Democrats screwups.

Well, they are kind of intertwined. As Cheney said at the 2000 Convention, you can't think of one without thinking of the other.

Yeah, like Yasser Arafat.

Don't you just love how W can't win with these people? He was criticized for not heading off Bin Laden and now he is criticized for trying to head off Saddam.

The public's not buying it, fortunately.

The movie "Caligula" depicted Tiberius as a shambling, disease-ridden mockery of his former self while indulging in a hedonistic lifestyle entirely bereft of morality or restraint. Yet another reason I call myself Tacitus, crying over our decline.

What's more important:

Oil or a terrorist with WMD?

I think we know the answer. Now everyone can stop talking about it.

Yeah, he's hanging out with Demi and Bruce Willis is none too happy. The rumor was they were trying to get back together and then she got involved with clinton. Who knows if the story is true but if so, it sure doesn't say much for Demi. My stomach turns even THINKING about sleeping with that diseased man...I would join a convent first.

I am ashamed to say that I ever watched Chris Matthews. He suckered me in with his bashing of the Clintons, after they left office. I caught a little of his interview with Albore the other night and Chris was going right along with Al's bashing W on Iraq and the WoT. Never again will I be taken in by that motormouth creep.

Did you notice how he was smiling as he said he didn't see how the economy will recover?

I have this to say to Al Gore..... The economy is doing better now, than it was when George W. Bush was sworn in. And when you take away all of the BOGUS earnings reports that were presented to investors, thanks to the illegal lending schemes and accounting practices that many of Clintons buddies adopted to prop up Clintons so-called legacy of a great economy during the 90's.

history will show that the 90's will be compared to "roaring twenties" and that the U.S. economy not only survived both the crash of NASDAC and the loss of confidence in the NYSE, But we survived the biggest attack on our soil in history that swallowed up 25% of our economy and took over 3,000 innocent American lives. I'd say this President has done a damn good job holding this country together
