How to Defeat "Gay" Arguments Written by Scott Douglas Lively, Esq.
Provided by Bob Sperlazzo Informed Christian Digest 12/14/2002
There is no shame in believing a lie until you learn the truth.
.
The success of so-called "gay rights" is an amazing triumph of clever deception over simple logic. When it comes to this issue, otherwise intelligent people routinely fall for arguments that just don't hold up under scrutiny. "Gay" sympathizers aren't necessarily more gullible than other people, they are simply tricked into accepting certain conclusions without first examining the underlying premises.
.
He who defines the terms controls the debate -- and by extension, public opinion. On this issue the terms have been defined (in many cases invented) by the talented sophists of the "gay" movement.
.
Sophistry, it must be noted, is the ancient Greek art of persuasion by subtly false reasoning. The key to overcoming sophistry is to simplify and clarify what the sophists have intentionally made complex and vague. That process begins by defining the terms and concepts being used in the arguments. One quickly discovers that most arguments advocating "gay rights" depend upon hidden false assumptions and deliberately ambiguous terms. It's all smoke and mirrors.
.
Among the most common terms and concepts in the "gay rights" debate are: homosexuality, sexual orientation, heterosexism, diversity, multi-culturalism, inclusiveness, discrimination, homophobia and tolerance. These words and phrases are used by "gay" sophists to frame the question of homosexuality as a civil rights issue. It is a context chosen to favor homosexuals to the

Homosexuality kills More accurately, indiscriminate sex with many partners kills. Homosexual men are more likely to engage in that sort of activity because they're men, and the female genetic instinct to hold out for the best mate is not a factor.
Many, MANY, people are now ex-homosexual. Therefore, it's not "genetics and can not be changed."
I'm sure there's a small percentage of people who really were confused, but the large majority are either straight or gay. I certainly couldn't "choose" to become physically attracted to members of the same sex, could you?

How to defeat gayism:
1. Gays: "We have true love for each....."
Response: "But you pluke other men in the butt and try to do the same to small boys."
2. Gays: "We feel..."
Response: "But you pluke other men in the butt and try to do the same to small boys."
3. Gays: "Biologically, we are a ..."
Response: "But you pluke other men in the butt and try to do the same to small boys."
4. Gays: "We are people of..."
Response: "But you pluke other men in the butt and try to do the same to small boys."
5. Gays: "No one can tell us that..."
Response: "But you pluke other men in the butt and try to do the same to small boys."

So your response to any argument from a homosexual or a person who is not anti-homosexual is to cut them off and never let them make any statements?
I can 'win' all kinds of debates with that kind of reasoning.

Quiet you. It has been well-established (by many discredited researchers known for blatant dishonesty) that homosexual sex in and of itself causes various different viruses to spontaneously generate.

How To Defeat Gay Arguements Dude, that is soooo gay.
Dude, you're such a fag.
Both work, and having two makes it less repetitious.

Patient goes into the Docs office
Dr: "I have some bad news, and I have some really bad news. Which do you want first?"
Patient: "give me the bad news first."
Dr: "You have AIDS"
Patient:"AIDS, oh my God, AIDS what'll I tell everyone? What'll I do, oh my God I can't believe it", "Whats the really bad news?"
Dr: "You have Alzheimers too"
Patieint:"Alzheimers?" Whew, for a minute I thought you were going to tell me I had AIDS."

I certainly couldn't "choose" to become physically attracted to members of the same sex, could you?I have no doubt what so ever that given the proper techniques, yes, my thinking could be changed.
How about all of the now-homosexual men (take the Clinton ambassador nominee, for example) who functioned just fine with the opposite sex, even got it up (under protest???) to make many babies. They all changed their desires to be attracted to the same sex from the opposite sex.
According to our pop-science, alcoholics are also "that way based on genetics." Somehow many of them break those genetic bonds and stop drinking.
Of course, most, if not all peole do not have the power to make the change to become straight on their own.

Butt lovin'...what can you say. There is no such thing as moral relitivity, people make their decision on the actions they take, however, don't justify your wrongs by destroying the moral integrity of others. I make my wrong choices and accept that I am an immoral animal, but I would never destroy the better angels of others. Thus, these folks are just evil when they try to convince.

No...
The theory is that there is a genetic predisposition toward alcoholism, not that acoholic are 'genetically' addicted. The theory is that some people have an inherited physiology that makes them less tolerant to alcohol (as in, they get drunk much more quickly).
Alcoholics who kick the drinking habit are not breaking genetic bonds, they are simply learning not to be dependent on alcohol. They cannot change whether their physiology is still at increased risk for alcohol dependence.

Your other statements were already addressed. The line about alcoholics and genetics, however, was just too inane and stupid to let stand, it had to be addressed right away because it was so easily shot down.

You just need to "think different." Pluking men in the butt doesn't cause AIDS. It's the virus-infected semen that invades the body through a ripped intestinal wall that causes it. Has nothing to do with homosexuality. Just ask "Think Different."
When it comes to AIDS, homosexuality gets a bum rap.
