Actually, I think that to build unity, having a friendly thread that does build social bonds can be important for activism and put a friendly face on the website for newbies and be a good way for Freepers to meet other Freepers. It's not the guts of the website, and I can well imagine a Virginia tough guy disapproving of too MUCH hugging, but it is what Freeper's Finest is. It is that. There's so much rough-and-tumble in the rest of FR.

Good question...looks like I'll be headed over to Germany fer a coupla weeks in March or April, so I'll haveta get that roadtrip finalized before I set a date fer NagsHead.

Are you wanting to deep-sea fish and/or golf?! That sorta impacts the months that are best, but I would like to do it during Off-Peak Season.
