Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

I'm sorry.....mostly because the media will proclaim this a defeat of Bush's 11-05 semi-mandate.
And of course I'm sorry for our LA brethren here.
My sympathies. Six more years of her.....and Breaux is of course senator for life. Yuck.

Terrell concedes...sigh

Terrell concedes.
To: JulieRNR21
Terrell just conceded to the bleached blond. I'd have waited a little longer if it were me. At least until all the votes were counted.

EXACTLY!, Lets not forget what happened in this mid-term, The Rats had their clocks cleaned and if they want to make a big deal out of an incumbant beating an un-known republican challeneger.... LET THEM, They're are still big losers in this mid-term no matter how they spin it,
To: StopDemocratsDotCom
worth repeating:
*GOP TAKES SENATE
*EXPANDS MAJORITY IN HOUSE
*KEEPS MAJORITY OF GOVERNORSHIPS
*TAKES MAJORITY IN STATE LEGISLATURES
*FOX NEWS WINS ELECTION NITE NUMBERS
Conservatives are Winners!!!

Terrell concedes.

Pennsylvania for example would NEVER go DemonRat if Filthadelphia was wiped away. Hey! You should amend that statement to if North and West Philadelphia went away. We here in the Great Northeast vote Republican - at least in the last good wards. My neighborhood (Fox Chase - southern part of the 63rd Ward) went 60-40 Republican.
To: jla
She's gonna win. True goodness always does. She already has won. Just not in the contest where votes are counted. (Hint: She lost that one to a DemonRat.)

What about Fletcher? Did he lose too?
I do think this is a big deal. We needed that 52nd seat!! I think the 6% unemployment coupled with the shakeup of the WH economic team threw this one to Landrieu. Terrell had the momentum but the economic news on Friday totally took the wind out of her sails.
Such a shame.
To: GreatOne
You are so right. After looking at tonight's election results, Sen. Chafee of Rhode Island may start to give switching parties another look. Also watch for future newspaper editorials to urge RINO Senators like Susan Collins, Arlen Spectors, & Lincoln Chafee to switch parties. The NY Slimes might argue that Landrieu's victory proves that Bush has no mandate, and it is still a 50/50 nation. Thefore, it is only fair that the "RATS have control of the Senate.
To: GOPcapitalist
How can a state that shows a 73% approval rating of President Bush go for Landrieu. The southern states like to have low state taxes, and are generally very conservative. This is especially true in the area of social values. But... the voters want the federal delegation to bring home the bacon from the other states.

BOYCOTT LOUISIANA!!
To: Theodore R.
If Terrall has not entered the race, then it would have been over with Landrieu winning over Cooksey by 15 to 20 points. Cooksey was a terrible candidate who could not refrain from saying stupid things (as well as a SORE LOSER).
BTW, are you still concerned with the Sanchez wave of voters here in Texas.
To: MJY1288
Well, Terrell gave them one huge run for their money!!
Thanks, Suzie!!

To: StarFan
Sorry to hear that Suzie conceded the race. What a shame.
HEY LOUISIANA!
ENJOY
BEING
IGNORED
FOR THE NEXT FEW YEARS!!
To: MAKnight
Well, I think Republicans can never get 10 percent of the black vote in most southern states. Every year we hear about how some Republican is drawing black votes, and perhaps Mayor Bloomberg did last year. But in most races in the South when all the returns come in, the GOP has virtually none of the black vote. About the only blacks who vote Republican in the South must be the few black admirers of Justice Thomas or something.
To: wardaddy
Methinks that our gal was simply not a strong candidate Me thinks you are right .. but still all in all .. she did pretty good .. it was still a close race
