If Terrall has not entered the race, then it would have been over with Landrieu winning over Cooksey by 15 to 20 points. Cooksey was a terrible candidate who could not refrain from saying stupid things (as well as a SORE LOSER).

BTW, are you still concerned with the Sanchez wave of voters here in Texas.

I think the Republicans lost this race in Louisiana... Cooksey and the current Gov just couldn't bring themselves to happily endorse her...

I guess has a choice to make: Louisiana in 2004 or hispanic votes in relation to sugar...

No, we would have been better off with Cooksey staying in the House. We would have had to have someone other than the field that entered the Senate primary to defeat Landrieu. I have no idea who this mythical candidate might have been. But I certainly did not mean Cooksey.
