GOP Circulating New Poll, Terrell Pulling Ahead in Louisiana!
ABC News Political Insiders 'The Note' and Wes Anderson Polling ^ | Dec. 3, 2002 | Mark Halperin and Elizabeth Winter

The Lambert family in Baton Rouge writes to us about a robocall that they recieved over the holiday weekend:

From Governor Mike Foster, talking about how Suzie Terrell was going to stand up for Louisiana values.

If I recall correctly, Mary Landrieu has been using the 'standing up for Louisiana' line for the entire campaign.

In the latest salvo in yet another heavily to over polled race, Republicans overnight circulated a Wes Anderson poll conducted November 25-26 showing Terrell leading Landrieu by a bit.

...it all depends on turnout.

Which reminds me, I only caught a few seconds of "W" in your fair state; what's your take on his reception/impact?

I cannot bear the thought of having to tolerate Mary's phoneyness for another six years.

Not to mention her galactic hypocrisy. Oh, you just said that...

Landrieu, senator for life, huh? I believe we may be witnessing a polar shift event here. A Pubbie senator from La?!?!? God make it so!

Make it a beauty contest, may the best looking candidate win!

Um, not so fast there. Republicans, especially Republican women, are usually much better looking then Dems. Just check out the respective Convention crowdshots. However, in this race I am not so sure....

IMO, they both look like the south end of a northbound mule.

On the news last night, I saw Landrieu putting her sticker on a remarkably unenthusiastic Black.

With the polls showing her slipping, I think the Black turnout will be low, and Landrieu's defeat will be a bad one.

Make that "a GOOD one!"

"Wasn't Landrieu the one that got into office through voter fraud, in the first place?"

The ONE?
How about Jean Carnahan?
How about (insert Dim name here)?

"...NEVER underestimate the power or sleaze of the Dixie mafia."

More to the point, never underestimate the power of the Noo Awlins Dimocratic machine.
They "bury" the dead above ground there so it'll be easier for 'em to vote!

Great job, but Clinton did one better. Remember Shalala (the very picture of health), Albright, Reno? Yikes!

Thank you for your hard work for Suzie. We worked our buns off for Norm Coleman in Minnesota. It was worth it. Good luck.

I hope you Cajuns got this under control, yes?

When I lived in Texas they called them "coon asses". I even knew a lady from LA who drove around in a big station wagon with a bumper sticker on the back saying, "Proud to be a Coon Ass..." I thought it was a little bizarre -- but to each his own.

Thank you. aftr, While I was aware that Cajuns are allowed to call each other by that sobriquet, I was fearful that it may have been a sort of an infra dig situation.

Kinda like in the RAP industry.
