World Media Acknowledges Bin Laden Letter

LONDON (AZZAM) Nov. 26, 2002:  The World media has acknowledged the presence of an authentic letter from Usama Bin Laden to the American People. The English translation of this letter was released by Azzam on 22 October 2002 and this was followed by an attempt by other parties to discredit both the existence and authenticity of this letter.

On 17 November 2002, renowned Al-Jazeera TV Chief Investigative Journalist, Yosri Fouda, announced that he had received a six-page letter, in Arabic, from sources that he was 100% convinced were from Al-Qaida. Rough translations of that letter carried by both the Associated Press, Reuters and Britain's Sunday Times, mentioned phrases that were very similar to the letter released by Azzam about a month earlier.

Over the last weekend, the Arabic version of this letter was distributed amongst Islamist circles by email after appearing on Arabic web-sites that have distributed authentic Al-Qaida material before. Britain's Sunday Observer magazine ran a story about this letter and they also published the full text of the letter in their newspaper.

Political analysts believe that those parties that sought to cast doubt on the presence or authenticity of this letter should act professionally by publishing the letter and acknowledging their gross misjudgement. Those wishing to obtain authentic and reliable news on Jihad and the Mujahideen are encouraged to rely on news sources whose credibility was established long before 11 September 2001.

Azzam is reveling in their new-found acceptance as a 'legitimate' news source for the world's press.

This is the same news agency that reports tens of thousands of Americans have been slaughtered in Afghanistan and have been shipped home in body bags -- and the U.S. Government is keeping it a secret from their families.

This same Azzam also has a picture of a dead soldier in a Russian uniform on their front page which they claim is an American and claim hearsay evidence that they know someone who has seen two other photographs of dead Americans even more gruesome. Of course there are hadiths to say that it is haram to mutilate a dead body.  I meant whilst he was alive. If they had sliced his throat till his head dropped off, then the photo would have rated a 10/10. Then again... is it just me, or does the guy look like he is smiling insanely?

When I see the picture, I feel sad.  Just like I feel sad when I see pictures of Palestinians murdered by the Israelis.  All of mankind must respect each other to end the violence, this is the will of Allah, isn't it?

Yes, Azzam does have connections to Al-Qaeda.

Azzam's Fatwa was the requirement that Muslims "kill Americans and their allies-civilians and military" -- and the hijackers carried it out.

After 9/11 European hackers who broke into www.Azzam.de German subscriber list and discovered an e-mail address for Said Bahaji, a fugitive identified as the computer geek of the 9-11 hijack cell based in Hamburg.

I absolutely agree.

The news here is not authenticity of the fake bin Laden letter -- the news is Azzam is gaining in credulity.

1. This letter has been up at the Azzam site for several weeks  and no one cared about it until the Guardian, Reuters, et. al. started thinking it was genuine.
2. It is written in the style of the Azzam.com writers
3. bin Laden doesn't use numerically ordered lists in his writing style.
4. The real reason bin Laden's style is so stilted is because he's forced to dictate it from beyond the grave in a spiritualist séance.

Regarding Post No. 5: I agree with you Mr. Galt.

It should be pointed out though, that quite a number of Middle East news sites do display an interest in the environment, pollution, and yes, a few of them are interested in the Kyoto treaty. (I read several Middle East-related news and views sites online on a regular basis.) A generic search engine on ALBAWABA.com - THE MIDDLE EAST GATEWAY will prove this out. (Search Keywords like Kyoto, environment, pollution, etc.)

My personal gut feeling, based on no facts at all, is that Has Been Laden is 6 ft. under OR he has had a major plastic surgery revamp.

I think I've seen one of them in another islamist forum I was snooping around in. It too, is really a Russian. Pretty soon these rabid demons will claim to have sunk our entire navy and will post pics of Pearl Habor to 'prove' it. They really have gotten the big head over the letter deal. I saw that one of taliban-online's webmonkeys was in the azzam forum testifying to azzam's 'accuracy' and supremacy over JUS.

The site may be registered to someone in Jordan, but it is hosted in Atlanta Georgia at DV2.COM.

If you ask DV2 about their hosting this and several other terrorist sites -- such as the Al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Hamas -- you will be told by Jeff Hinkle, CEO of DV2, that the FBI is forcing them to host these terrorist sites.

Jeff Hinkle will also tell you that you might be charged with obstruction of justice for even mentioning the fact that DV2 is hosting the sites.
