[history]
Al Gore says he was terrorized by "busloads of people" organized by the Republican Party, protesting outside the vice presidential residence during the 2000 Florida presidential recount.
In an interview with Barbara Walters on ABC, Mr. Gore talked about the "the organized chanting round-the-clock," and said: "Well, this was the Republican response to what was happening during that 36-day period, and they organized busloads of people that came and stood outside the house all day and all night screaming at the top of their lungs."

2. His daughter's head is in a rather Clintonian place.Weak attempt. Especially since there are SO MANY legimate reasons to bash Gore.
I'll tell you what...How about you make your weak comment to some father who is watching TV with his daughter in the same position? See how fast he kicks your ass.

All you people defending Al Gore in this picture are suckers. You are forgetting that this is a STAGED PICTURE. Jeez, guess you fell for him when he planted that big kiss on Tipper at the Democratic Convention in 2000!
I think the daughter in the pic is 23. Sorry, it might be possible for real families to have pictures like this, but I don't believe for one minute that this pic is real - and that is what is really sick.
I forgot that all Democrats have to do is appeal to the "mush-factor" to win people over - even some here on FreeRepublic. Sorry - but I don't trust ANYTHING Gore does. Guess I am just not as gullible as some.
And did he pay Naomi Wolfe $15,000 to suggest the pose? When it comes to Democrats, NO MERCY!

Just because you probably get "Clintoned" by your own daughter, that doesn't mean Algorbatross does too.

This must be "let's label the GOP as terrorists" week. First Dasshole, now the Cybernaut Savant. Nobody is more brutal and ruthless than the RAT's union thugs, Jackson's rent-a-race-riot squad and the Clintonista goons that see Arkancide as a legimate form of public policy.

Think about it Al, Freepers will have a Stump, Buttman and 250,000 shares of ARCO stock at every one of your events next year!!!!
Oh and by the way we won't be buying your new book.

Ahh those were the days. Kudos especially to the Washington Freepers and the Florida ones too. They did a great job. And don't forget our New York crew here as well in Liberal hell. We were always outnumbered 10 to one and had to freep in severe weather in Times Square.
A little walk down memory lane for you: "The WHIFF of FASCISM is in the air!!!" ROTFLOL! As long as I live, I'll never stop laughing over that one! ;-D

During our protests, I think someone must have owned a small restaurant or cafe. He/she brought 3 large hot coffee/cocoa/cider dispensers and hung a sign on them that said "republicans only, democrats get enough handouts". It was one of the funniest things that I saw.

Early morning ping!

****The sad thing is that millions of people will watch them on ABC and believe the whole thing about the GOP busing people there to scream at him all day and all night *****
The positive take on this observation is that Dems are conditioned to having "someone" organize and bus in their demonstrators. It really was beyond Al Gore's comprehension that hundreds of sane people were leaving their homes independently to stand there, wave signs, and say "Your behavior will not stand."
This tunnel vision works in our favor.

Thanks for the ping, tgslTakoma.
Chanting "Get out of Cheney's house!" with my FReeper and Republican FRiends in those weeks after the election ranks as some of the most rewarding hours I have spent on this earth.
The fact that AlGore and his family (and the rest of those Democrat pond scum) are still seething about our "Street theater" makes the entire episode all the more sweeter to remember!
Run again, Al! You ain't seen nothing, yet!
