Breaking. Japanese Sankei Daily Shimbun (news) in Japanese on its website in Tokyo a few moments ago, runs, as a top story, the headline: "GOP Sweep. Republicans to Control Senate, Too" (www.sankei.co.jp)

I've enjoyed this tonight, guys/gals. Usually I would be right up in this, but the server has been slow, so I left it to everybody else to report. :) Figured I'd help out by NOT posting. :) Matt

Say, Has ANYONE seen HITLERY CLINTON grant TV network an interview tonight? For that matter, where is "The Bent One"? Where is HE?Come to think of it, no. They're probably both face-down on the carpet, throwing a tantrum any spoiled 4-year-old would be proud of.

He also gave advice for the republicans: 'Don't Gloat'. In public anyway. That's what we have FreeRepublic for.

In the five Senate races remaining (CO, LA, MN, MO, SD), Republicans lead in EVERY one at the moment... Louisiana's top 5 candidates are all Dem or GOP, and if you add their totals, it's 51% GOP to 48% Dem. I doubt we'll keep all 5, but 3 sure would be sweet!
To: LikeLight
MO is ours, as is the Senate!
Rush did fine, basically stated that the Dems had no real strategy, have been belittling and attacking Bush for most of the 2 years, and will have to regroup and come up with a new message. Gave his speech about the mistakes of the GOP after 1994, advised them to not be arrogant this time and to analyze this election correctly. Suggested that the GOP needs to stand firm on what they believe and move on the domestic front, but not to be cocky. Said he was wrong in his criticism of Bush's new tone.
His best comment of the night was in the first segment, when he gave his oft repeated speech of the Dems had been successful by demonizing Republicans, but that people now know and like Bush, thus they lost their main strategy. At the same time Rush came across as a reasonable debater of ideas, not an ogre. Which made me mad as hell when that bastard Brokaw ended the segment with a snide backhand remark toward Rush.
Rush did very well, and his first segment(most watched) was very powerful.

Now if Greenspan lowers rates tomorrow, the market should shoot up. Then it is off to Iraq, I predict in a couple weeks, and Iraquis will dance in the streets. Economy will pick up and life is really good.

Narrowest gap of the evening Govenor race of Alabama was 8 votes at 96% counted.
It is very very close now still even though the Demos have claimed victory. 98% counted now with about 5000 demo lead, but the numbers are not counted correctly according the Republican Riley(R)
