I'm not a Bush bot. I'm someone who votes Republican and expects to see some action from them. Independents, such as myself, can give and we can take away. Unless there are some big strides towards controlling our borders, deporting illegals, and zero immigration and visas to terrorist nations, my vote will go to Tancredo as a write in in 2004.

The CNN affliate in ABQ, has her winning by the same margin as two other sites have her losing. I don't have ABQ TV down here so have to get it off the websites. If she wins it will be in the form of the Pubbie absentee ballots not yet counted. In other words (sadly) CNN is likely wrong (and for once I wish they were right).
Rush on now.

It looks like the Senate won't be "bogged down in procedures" anymore!!! :-)

Alice [,Texa] is where operatives stuffed Ballot Box 13 with 200 votes to save Lyndon B. Johnson's political career. The extra ballots were cast in alphabetical order and marked in the same handwriting and with the same dark ink. Johnson had planned to abandon politics if he lost his second campaign for the U.S. Senate in 1948, but Box 13 gave him enough votes to win. He went on to become vice president and finally president. Excerpted from an LA Times article.

Brokaw now saying it's likely Lott will get his Majority Leadership job back...
(at least until we can replace him with a Republican Senator with b*lls; any names come to mind)
