Please post as much election information as you can on this thread, so we won't have a million separate threads running at one time.
And, please, NO GRAPHICS -- just links!
I don't think I understand. This would be different than before Nov '05 how?
If St. Louis isn't in yet, she can do it. Otherwise, she is finished.
Anyone know what is left uncounted?
1. Carnahan seemed very smirky and smarmy saying that "St. Louis City" hasn't reported yet. 2. Engle on Fox at the WH said two people from MO at the WH are not confident enough to call it for GOP. Wonder why?... maybe 99% turnout pending in "St. Louis City"...??
"we really need to rebuild the dem leadership. We need to drag them left, and get them stop their compromising on issues. We need to get the lobby groups on our sides. We need to reach out to greens, we need a vast leftwing alliance. We've got 2 years to pick a candidate for president, and I think it would help us to look to unknowns, I mean the less the repubs know about the candidates the better."
That strategy should do the trick...not!
I don't know if anyone on FR is keeping track of those races... I can barely post on FR tonight, it's so slow. It has speeded up a little bit, though, now that many of my fellow East Coasters are heading to bed.
My husband and I visited your lovely state a couple of weeks ago (attended the Taos balloon rally, visited Santa Fe, Taos Pueblo, Taos ski area, etc.). NM is a very unique state - would love to visit again. On the (political) DOWNside... saw Bill Richardson (and "Vote Straight Democrat") signs EVERYWHERE. Sincere condolences on that Richardson gubernatorial win tonight. Sanchez seemed like a rising star within the Republican party, although I admit I don't know too much about his background.

Oh, look -- someone else who can't read...
Sorry to make your brain explode, but I voted a straight-party Republican ticket today. Your first hint should have been the way I spoke of "they" when writing about libertarians, and didn't use the word "we".
Obviously something's wrong with your knee-jerk preconceptions. Whatever could it be?
Try reading what I wrote again, this time for content instead of for isolated words which trigger the mental reflexes which pass for actual thought in your brain.
Hint: I said nothing about "teaching you all lesson". That came from the bowels (and I use that word carefully) of your own ingrained political prejudices.
All I pointed out was that libertarians vote for libertarian candidates for the same reason that republicans vote for republicans (even for republican candidates who have no chance of winning) -- in order to make their voice heard and to influence the issues which will be focused on in the next election cycle.
How you managed to twist that into the bizarre paraphrasing you spewed above, I'll never know, but I'd like to point out that the decaffeinated brands taste almost as good.
But since you didn't accuse me of being only motivated by drugs and child porn, like Cherry so charmingly did, I won't insist on an apology from you, I'll just ask that you try to read more carefully in the future before you go off on wild rants about people based on nothing they've actually written.
Holding election results past a certain time should be illegal.
Or finding some F***ing Jew Bastards to scream at.
That's a big "if."
