Yes, because being in favor of terrorism would be a compromise.
Did he just say a better tone in war talks???? Unreal.
To: MP5
Mondale just said people are getting elected by opposing America.....oh my,he's talking about his own party!
To: rintense
Mondale is a gruff old dog. He sounds just like my Grandpa did! What was that movie called ?? .. Grumpy Old Men .. LOL

Big surprise. LOL. If they listen closely they can hear McAuliffe whispering in his ear.

Mondale just said to Coleman "quiet. I'm asking the questions here." He thinks he's at the regular monday morning meeting of the Sleepy Hills Retirement Home resident's council.

Mondale: I am opposed to terrorism!

exactly. Norm is in control here.
Mondale comes across as a cranky old man
The silliest thing is that he claims that he is an independant voice and then he rips anything related to the Bush Admin.
I hope the people of MN see this cr@p for what it is.

Parkinson's? I thought I saw some subtle sigsn of this in Mondale the other night -- my F-i-L has Parkinson's and he "fades' as it gets later -- Mondale's speech pattern also sounds very much like my F-i-L did in the early stages -- wondering if late afternoon/evening tiring could be the reason behind the strange timing of this debate

Mondale is stating his position on Iraq...it sounds quite like Bush's, but he still says he wouldn't have supported the Iraq resolution.
The president has gone to the UN, we are reaching out to other countries,.....
To: William McKinley
Mondale looks like he's auditioning for Grumpy Old Men III.
To: rintense
He sounds just like my Grandpa did! Yea, I keep expecting him to say "young whipper-snappers"
To: Bella
"Mondale's doing well...looks like he's a winner here guys."
If you like nasty, classist liberals, that is
To: Mo1
I only hope the folks of Minnesota don't fall for pretty words that have no meaning.Of course they will. Sheeple are sheeple everywhere.

The crowd just loves Mondale, eats up every snide comment. Is Minnesota really this far gone?

Hell, I doon't know which disease is affecting his right hand...but clearly, it's an age indicator...I think voters will notice. I think it makes Mondale look frail. It's even worse if it's no disease, and is just nervousness. He's certainly showing a lack of self-control, he's on the defensive, angry.
When Mondale pointed that shakey finger of rebuke at a very polite, respectful Coleman, he looked like the Grim Reaper.

That is reassuring. Mondale is opposed to terrorism. I guess he rejected the advice of the DNC, who counseled Mondale to come out strongly in favor of terrorism!
To: KsSunflower
Mondale seems mean!!! He can't seem to answer firmly without appearing hateful and disrespectful! He's the kind of a guy who'd run the children off his grass. He'd be a horrable neighbor. I hope other people watching this didn't like him as well. He's just a mean old fart!
To: McGruff
Mundane is now saying that him and Powell are on the same side. He said that Powell is against Bush on Iraq, and that we shouldn't go in there.
