The derogatory tone in which Mondale refers to Coleman as "pro-life" disgusts meWalter is playing with fire here, he is nearing the on deck circle. He better hope the atheists are right.
To: McGruff
Hubby just called--is listening to debate on the radio (not watching TV). He thinks Coleman is shellacking Mondale.

Coleman slams Mondale with Jimmy Carter being able to hire whoever he wanted to and now the Senate doesn't want Bush to have that right!
I think Coleman is doing well!

Ha! Saying that Jimmy Carter exercised that authority many times!!
This is the Hubert Humphrey law that was passed when Humphrey went back to the Senate.
To: KeatsforFirstDog
Agreed. I don't like some of what Coleman is saying, but he has a very clear plan: appeal to moderates, Dems, women. And for those purposes, his tone is working.
To: McGruff
Why can't we fire the guy who changed the paperwork that allowed Malvo to stay and slay?
To: Catspaw
Mondale's winning in the sense that he showed up & he's not drooling. This is in the heart of Blue Country, after all. LOL! He's doing better than I expected but he cannot change his demeanor after all. Coleman gaining confidence and pressing him on Homeland Security.

Besides being respectful, I wonder if that's a subtle subliminal reminder that Mondull was a key part of the second worst administration in recent history?
To: Otta B Sleepin
Coleman trying to get Mondale to take a stand on homeland security....remains focused and respectful - Norm's doing great!
To: Pravious
Libs are all for PRO CHOICE but can't bring themselves to say that the opposite of PRO LIFE is PRO DEATH.

WATCH THAT RIGHT HAND...it's shakey. Ministrokes? Parkinson's?
To: Letitring
I wonder what Mondale has to say when those Union Jobs on the Homeland Security Bill he is protecting go ON STRIKE
What will happen to our National Security then??
