In fact, regarding the 18 year hunt for the Unimbomber, the caunted FBI profilers were about 180* out from the actual bomber. As I recall he vaunted FBI profilers were looking for a very neat janitor with a high school education possibly working for a university or corporation in a large city.

I can't provide a link, but I know we paid several million to --I think it was Abu Syef--in E. Timor a couple of years ago for some hostages. The article was in an Australian paper and posted here, but we were at a different URL then. The article has apparently been lost because I've tried to retrieve it before. It even gave the name of the US official who was in the negotiations. (Toon was still president then)

I know there are many (most likely a majority) who would never believe Bush would authorize a payoff. I disagree. He pays off our enemies all the time--he just does it through various "aid programs" and "grants" and "trade agreements"--and it's not called a payoff. Surely no one thinks Muscharraf is supporting us because he agrees with our ideology.

The writer could be correct about a lot of things. Certainly part of what she says is seriously existent today. I have no doubt Muhammad and Malvo have a lot of sympathizers happy to let them do the dirty work. I have some doubt as to whether Muhammad wanted to be caught. He was caught by accident. One of the critical leads in the case came from the U.K., of all places. Eveyrone is an authourity on what they now claim should have been obvious. It wasn't obvious at the time.

With a little more money in their pocket and a few more brain cells they could have gone on for years.

This is probably the most important piece of work I have read on the subject of the sniper. That the author is running for office is of no consequence to me - except to wish her luck. The bottom line is that her column will not make it to the main stream media.

If Farrakhan didn't feel some vulnerability, he wouldn't have had a full blown news conference within hours of Muhammed and Malvo being taken into custody. I'm not saying he knew who the shooters were beforehand - I'm saying he is now doing damage control by getting out in front of the story. Farrakhan may have even been trying to send signals to them during his news conference.

Farrakhan just lately paid a visit to Iraq.
As I have posted earlier, Moose speaks in the same pattern and style of the NBP...overly polite as public spokepersons while seething inside.
Moose is a corrupt and corrupted, bad-tempered cop who became a klinton/reno favorite...and is a raging hypocrite just like Bellefonte.
The shooters had the BEST technology for their specific use and help from at least two other people within the MD establishment bureaucracy.
They COULD have gotten away, thanks to Moose, until the very last minute when he was forced to spit out the truth at a time when it was known the shooters would not be listening.
This was a test run. Reconnaissance. And every time Moose gave a press conference, he also clued the shooters in on where the beef was. Moose was the first to mention that the children were safe. In the morning, that was no longer true.
Moose also delivered the chilling message that the children were not safe anywhere at any time.
Law Enforcement HAD to keep putting Moose out there or the perps would have taken off. As long as they thought he was still in charge, they could be as arrogant as they pleased...which got them caught. Had Moose actually BEEN in charge, they would be spending Thanksgiving in Jersey instead of jail. If they hadn't crossed over into DC, which they didn't mean to do, Moose would have stayed in charge
In the end, it was Moose who delivered the message of all messages to the entire country. It is the NBP/NOI/AQ message. There are LOTS of little Ts out there, and a great big one is the trophy. Worth millions.
Lest anyone forget, Saddam tried to have Bush 41 assassinated. Who might you think got these millions this time since it was Farrakhan who went a-calling?

Though this article describes a present danger - represented by the NOI and offshoots of America hating black groups... I think it attributes too much "motive" to this pathetic lifetime loser who went on a killing spree to "act out" in anger and make money- with his boy toy.

Mohammed appears to have had a history of being able to make money ONLY by illegal activity.... It may even come out - that his relationship with NOI goes much deeper and darker into NOI activities, than simply being a "member".... This clown was a self deluded undisciplined asshole that couldn't get it "right" in the National Guard, U.S. Army, failed businesses, two marriages and now it appears even his own sexual orientation!

If those two clowns represent the "Fruit of Islam" -- they will be plucked and devoured at leisure.

Any American that is unarmed and unprepared to defend themselves, their family and THIS NATION - WHEN the time comes - is naive and reckless.

August 21 (Court TV) -- David Kaczynski, who helped reveal his brother as the Unabomber, was given a $1 million reward Thursday by the Justice Department for his efforts.

As Kaczynski was receiving his money, a federal appeals court ruled that a psychiatric report on his brother Theodore could be made public.

David Kaczynski has pledged not to keep the money, and will give it to the families of Unabom victims.
