"When writing about terrorism, remember to include white supremacist, radical anti-abortionists and other groups with a history of such activity." This one is my favorite.
We must always be reminded that "whitey" and conservative Christians are just as evil as any terrorists.
Now you know why journalists always jump on Falwel; they've been told to.

No, it reads just like the Chicago Tribune the worst newspaper in the country.

Being in the business...I can safely tell you this is no joke.

So, a good model to follow would be:
"A bomb exploded in Bali today, destroying a nightclub and killing dozens. The Indonesian government blamed terrorists, which caused some observers to wonder if white supremacists or anti-abortion radicals were behind this attack."

When writing about terrorism, remember to include white supremacist, radical anti-abortionists and other groups with a history of such activity. Let's see... that would be Janet Reno/Bill Clinton killing a bunch of men women and children in Waco, TX?
And, maybe Bill Clinton/Janet Reno sending a small child, by gunpoint, back to eat dirt for the rest of his life.
Oh, yes, and BIG TIME Algore supporter the Unibomber (sp?).
And Greenpeace.
And the extreme enviro-wackos.
I hope they complete their list.
There is only one soilution to this news bias problem. Don't buy it and don't read it. ONLY buy honest newspapers with honest news accounts (e.g. NOT the N.Y. Times and Washington Post).

This is a pretty good one, too:
Avoid using terms such as "jihad" unless you are certain of their precise meaning and include the context when they are used in quotations. The basic meaning of "jihad" is to exert oneself for the good of Islam and to better oneself.
Who wrote this crap? CAIR?

My favorite line as well. I couldn't help but think why the journalists are not as sensitive to white Christians and Pro-Lifers.
This piece speaks for itself and indicts them all.

They converted an editorial by Osama Bin Laden into policy.
To: twas
They forgot one cast-iron rule:
"Always refer to Islam as a Religion of Peace"

I went to the home page to share some of my thoughts with these folks but couldn't find a link to do that. Pity.

True. This horror does in fact exist on the spj.org site. Unbelievable but true.

Why bother to share your thoughts with the enemy--as surely anyone who subscribes to this deliberate pattern of pursuing disinformation must be considered. Rather do all you can to publicize these guidelines--to make sure that nearly every American with an inquiring mind understands that the Leftwing media is so committed to misleading him or her, at every opportunity. Once that lesson is really understood--and the analogous lesson about Leftwing Academia--we will begin to turn the corner, and regain our perspective as a people.

I agree that we must get this web page information out to everyone.
Tell everyone you know about it and let them read it for themselves.
For me, this web page answers a lot of questions as to why reporting is now overwhelming concerned, not with news and facts, but with political correctness.
The truth needs to be known.

Not CAIR, but the American Muslim Council (AMC), another Wahhabi outfit that basically serves as the Saudi religious establishment's hand in North America. They are quite well-funded thanks to their Gulf donors, and plan on implementing the sha'riah over here once the US Wahhabi population grows to the point where it becomes an actual electoral possibility.
I think there are several good articles on the real nature of CAIR and the AMC (as well as their bankrollers) in the "Jihad in America" section of Free Republic.

Thanks for the info. . . I will spread the word.

Wow. Very open and upfront about how to impose politically correct indoctrination. Reminds me of the Cohen clomun on 'ethics' (and keep in quotes, it is drivel column) where he tells a feminist to tear up a contract because the real estate agent is a devout orthodox Jew who doesnt belive it is right to shake hands with women. They see that they have the 'upper hand' in the culture war, and will show their power any way they can.

Actually, it is a scary sign that they are open about it, becuase it means that they are at the 'next stage' of cultural change: They have the upper hand to marginal those who might find this approach offensive.
Which means that maybe 2/3rds maybe 90% of journalists think THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS KIND OF APPROACH TO JOURNALISM!
