Well we certainly can't have him linked to the "religion of peace" now can we. Must be part of some outragous cult that believes that America must be destroyed...no wait, that is the "religion of peace", my bad.

The tarot card didn't say, "I am God." It said, "Call me God."

Hopefully soon his only connection will be to an electric chair.
Then he can tell the devil "I am God" all he wants.

In the past 40 years, has ANYONE ever dared to fault Muhammad (sp?) Ali for abandoning his faith in Jesus Christ as an expression of racial pride?
One of the side-effects of a 90% illegitimacy rate in the inner cities--created by the Democratic Party's welfare system--is a huge population of unevangelized people. And unbaptized. Missionaries of all Christian churches testify to the prevalence of Satanic influences they encounter in populations who are largely unbaptized.

"'Also, a convert to true Islam would change his first name, not his last name, like Mr. Muhammad did.'"May I respectfully draw the honorable deacon's attention to Abdul Hamid (aka John Walker Lindh), Muhammad Ali (aka Cassius Clay) and Yusuf Islam (aka Stephen Demetre Georgiou aka Cat Stevens), just to pick the first three converts to Islam that come to mind. Nevertheless, the rest of this "Five Percenter" stuff does seem to fit pretty well.

I heard of the "Five Percenters" years ago, so that is not made up. I don't know whay the chaplain would lie about his opinion as to what he thinks John Mohammed is a part of.

FWIW, that bit about the name-changing (or how it should *not* be changed) seems a little arbitrary, or at least not consistent with the names that come to mind most quickly: Cassius Clay, Lew Alcindor, Malcom X, Cat Stevens -- all changed their names completely. (I believe Mike Tyson has converted to Islam, and is still "Mike Tyson" to everybody, though he was quick to drop that "praise Allah" stuff right after 9/11/01.)

LOL. This is what happens when Nation of Islam kooks try to incorporate self esteem stuff into Islam. "I Am God."

The founder of the Five Percenters was a man who called himself Clarence 13X Not to be confused with Clarence 13EEE.

I've heard the term "word of bond" - it's more spread than just to "5%ers." Here is a Nation of Islam article entitled
"Word is Bond" about a visit to Zimbabbwe. Interesting that this one of my first hits in a search engine.

Five Percenters that much of the Nation of Islam ideology is based not on mainstream Islamic beliefs but on theories of black supremacyThe newest version of political correctness is to not insult anyone by failing to differentiate their particular form of Satanism.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
Who cares whether they're 5 Percenters, or Nation of Islam or Wahhabists or whatever else...they're TERRORISTS, and a terrorist by any other name is...a TERRORIST. (Williams/Muhammad was a member of the Nation of Islam, and deacon's comments are pure conjecture.)
To: Behind Liberal Lines
are the 5%'ers also NAMBLA types?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
This means he is Islamic, but there's that little meaning of the word "is."
Was he Islamic back then that was the "is" then, or "is" he Islamic that is the "is" now?
Therefore, he must be an Islamic maybe not.

He says that today's Nation of Islam, headed by Louis Farrakhan, is moving closer to the worldwide Islamic mainstream. Oh that's comforting.

The Five Percenter ideology has been embraced by members of the modern rap music community, according to Kiley, Swedenburg and the hip-hop music site, www.africana.com. But yet, young and old alike are being forced to swallow the myth of "diversity" and how it is of supreme importance to accept whatever actions "diverse" cultures decide they want to do....
