Sometimes extreme action is required stop further action. Yes he's only 17, but if he hasn't figured out by now that killing innocents is wrong, he isn't the effort to reform.
BTW, for some reason Cynthia's Email address is not included at the end of her editorial. It used to be cynthia@ajc.com

We do not allow 17-year-olds to vote or drink or run for high political office. We also don't allow 17-year-olds to kill people, either. If this b!tch is so concerned about him, she ought to adopt him.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
So poor Malvo had a disruptive, unstructured home life that led him to shoot people - all the while not knowing it is wrong to engage in such behavior??? Earth to Cynthia Tucker; come in, Cynthia Tucker ...

Cynthia Tucker just frittered away her last shred of credibility for me.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
What a bunch of tripe! She doesn't offer one reason we shouldn't fry him. And BTW, seventeen year olds serve in our military every day....

And so the apologies from the mushy headed left begin for a pair of Muslim Terrorists.

While the jurisdictional wrangling being broadcast on TV may appear unseemly, so were the actions of these perps. I have to ask if Cynthia would have felt compelled to compose this editorial if Malvo was a 17 year old white trash, skinhead or Nazi-wannabee?

Dear Ms Tucker.
Once enraged, personal dignity on my part becomes irrelevant. My path runs straight to the source of the problem. I'll be happay to volunteer to chop off the litlle sonofabitch's head. We can talk about restoring serene dignit afterwards.
Sincerely yours,
RLK

Malvo should be no mo'. (17 is old enough for this scumbag.)

The dead felled by the snipers' three-week rampage deserved a dignified pursuit of justice, but they will not get it. Justice would be that someone snuck up behind them when they weren't looking and blew a hole in them. What this writer wants is due process, and there is a world of difference between due process and justice.

Only 17?????
Are the innocent victims still dead???? If we could hear their voices, would they agree???? We have to speak for them, hang the two snipers, sooner the better and I think the dead will applaud.

WAAAH WAAAH, Please don't hurt him, he's only a baby, He's really a good boy. He had a bad home life.
Typical liberal thought. If he was a good boy he would have found a way to stop the killings. Since he didn't we can rightly assume that he is evil and needs to be removed before he kills again. To top it off he's a mohammedan and our enemy in the present war.
God Save America (Please)

Sometimes you just have to ask yourself, "What would Gilbert and Sullivan say?".
"Let the punishment fit the crime."

We do not allow 17-year-olds to vote or drink or run for high political office. There is good reason for that. While the line between youth and adulthood is not as sharply drawn as age limits suggest, there is a common understanding that teenagers usually lack wisdom and maturity. Yet I would guess she is in favor of a teenage girls "right" to have an abortion without consulting her parents.

Cynthia Tucker needs a little lesson in practicality. If Malvo is dead, he will never kill anyone again.

Cynthia is the poster girl for whats wrong with affirmative action. If she werent a black female, she wouldnt be writing for a big newspaper, not even a rag like the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation.
No respected news organization would have Cynthia writing for them even as a quota filler.

Johnny Lee, just say your sorry and we'll forgive you.
Not! 17 years old is old enough to know that murdering another person is wrong. He deserves no mercy if convicted and should face the maximum penalty upto and including execution.
