Police spotted suspects' car 10 times during sniper spree (PC killed more innocents!)

``We were looking for a white van with white people, and we ended up with a blue car with black people,'' said Washington, D.C., Police Chief Charles Ramsey, whose department ran the Caprice's license Oct. 3, just hours before a fatal shooting in Washington that has been tied to the sniper suspects, John Allen Muhammad, 41, and John Lee Malvo, 17.

Story of the whacked-out ex-military assault rifle-expert is now old news on the liberal news media and the killer gun is now of the street ... let's move along now.

The liberal media will now concentrate on what America did wrong to produce these aberrations.

What's the purpose of collecting data if no one analyzes them?

So as to create the appearance the police are earning their pay?

Does anybody know precisely when "Muhammad" changed his name? I know it was last year (although usually falsely reported as coinciding with his "conversion"). I'll bet a week's pay it was shortly after the invasion of NYC.

Let’s hope that the facts of this case see the light of day.

Is anyone optimistic that this is going to happen?

The point is the authorities had plenty of reason to believe that the snipers were Muslim terrorists. Especially, in light of the 9/11 tragedy and all of the threats Muslim terrorists have made against American citizens and American interests, since.

I AGREE

Sherlock Holmes would have called all of these pertinent details clues.

HE would have said that it is not just facts but the interpretations of facts that is essential. At least, that's what he said in one of his cases.

It's obvious that a lot of LE working on this case didn't have one, or had personal motivations or orders from higher authority to ignore them.

That's certainly possible, even probable.

I hope the surviving family members sue the INS and everyone else on down that was involved in this fiasco.

DEFINITELY agree.

And, I have no Sherlock Holmes books but I have the 14 tape series with Brother Basil.

So, where do we disagree?

Let’s hope that the facts of this case see the light of day. These 2 killers should have been apprehended weeks ago.

Beyond the fact the car was overlooked several times. Take a look at the letter. The killers were trying to get caught weeks ago.

NOBODY saw them shoot anyone.

I saw a criminal defense lawyer on Greta's show last night who really pushed that notion. He didn't know how this man could be executed. He said, well, maybe he had the gun, but there were no witnesses who saw him DO the crime.

I hope the police are combing the trunk of that car coming up with hair, fibers, etc. to place one or BOTH in that trunk doing the shooting.

You are right but they won't ever admit that. And certainly won't admit that muslims are very troubled people.

heartwood: "also did they enter all the license plate numbers of the cars they stopped? yes, because they know they had stopped this car 10 times. so where is the search that pulls up all the plates that show up twice, thrice, five times, ten times?"
-----

THAT was exactly my first thought. In this day and age of computers, you'd think they would compare all the plates that show up, precisely to see if a plate shows up again and again. After the second time the same plate shows up, it should have been checked -- as a huge red flag. Considering the random times and places, it would be highly unlikely for anyone not involved to be in two locations at the same time, never mind 3,4,...10!!!! times. This kind of plate comparison should be totally elementary police work. I can't imagine why they didn't do this -- instead of diligently looking for some "disenchanted white guy" calling them on the phone.

As it is, the graphic Moose had of the "white van" was wrong. Moose didn't bust this case; the FBI did.

SHHHHHHHHHHHH! We don't want ole Moose to feel bad, now do we? It's racist to criticize those of another skin hue that is except if you are Causasian. If Caucasian, then fire away. Moose needs to feel good and we need to be concerned about his self esteem.

The police have to be real careful or they will be up on charges.

Uh, actually, if recent trends are any indication, the cops can shoot damned near anyone they want and get away with it. Cops are rarely charged with shooting even unarmed civilians. The unarmed Maryland kid who was shot in the face while obeying police orders to get out of the car comes to mind; the thug who shot him is still walking around a free man.

Also, now that we know these were a couple murderous morons with no particular skill at getting away with it, it's a sure bet they were not careful about not being recorded on store parking lot security cams in the commercial strips where they did the shootings. The car should have been on cam at more than one shooting site, which SHOULD have made it a prime target for the dragnet.

Or maybe that was all a show so the public would not realize just how ineffective the cops are. Ya think?

Political correctness is the ultimate example of the old story about "the emperor's new clothes". The liberals have imposed a social belief system on America for which there is no rational defense...thus in order to maintain the system, they must rely of the creation of social taboos. This allows them to avoid ration discussion, and simply utilize social ostracism.

This results in some truly amazing things. Namely, those of us outside the matrix of PC mind control watch with our mouths agape as otherwise intelligent persons talk and behave as though they don't recognize facts which everyone knows exist around them. Its like a self-imposed game of mental pretend.

You are right on the money. The Left is now and always has been engaged in a war on reality. That is what the struggle ultimately comes down to. To fight back, come and visit.

"Since we know the perps car was stopped at least 10 times,..."

And they were probably stopped by the same cops each time!

The stops could have sounded something like 'Hey Muhammed! How are you and your handsome son doing tonight?' (Wink, wink.)

'Man you guys are in a bad place tonight, again. Yeah, we're looking for those vicious white guys in that white truck. You see 'em?'

'Hey, the way you guys are always around, we might start to think you're the snipers! Naw, just kidding. The profilers say these perps are white and they're never wrong. Yeah, they know their stuff. Well, that's why they pay them so much. Ha, ha.'

'Sorry to stop you guys, again. Hey, we have to stop everybody. Just doin' our job. Nice to see faces we know, though.'

'Alright, well move along now and be careful. Keep your eyes open. Let us know, if you see anything. Whatever you do, don't try to be heroes. Just call us, you hear? Good, wouldn't want any more innocent folks gettin' hurt. You two make such a cute couple and all. Yeah, yeah we guessed. No problem. None of our business. It's not like you're killing anyone else. Right?'

'Hey, still didn't find yourself a backseat? That's tough. Keep lookin', yeah. And you guys should really get that hole in the trunk fixed. It's going to be real cold soon. You guys will catch your death. Hey sorry, didn't mean to say that. Slip of the tongue.'

'Be careful in those rest stops. Keep your windows up and doors locked. If we see you, remember we owe you a coffee.'

'Alright, later guys. Yeah, yeah, allah be praised to you, too. Stay safe.'

'Yeah, we'll catch those animals. Don't worry. We're on it. Whatever it takes. How many white guys can there be driving white trucks?'

LOL!

It wasn't you I felt I had a disagreement with. At least not with that initial statement about Islamic terrorists.

When Templar accused you of making assumptions, it seemed you backed off a little. Especially when you said that assumptions can work both ways.

I believe that everyone, including you, that thought that Muslim terrorists were behind these attacks weren't making assumptions at all.

It was an obvious deduction based on the facts of the case.

As Sherlock Holmes would say, "Elementary, my dear Watson." ;^)
