FoxNews slams Military: Major Label of Sniper is "Army Vet" NOT "Islamic Sniper"

This is outrageous!

The truth is that

1. Islamics blew up the World Trade Center
2. Islamics blew up a wing of the Pentagon in which many members of the ARMY died.
3. Islamics blew up the USS Cole in which US military died.
4. Islam is the issue with Al Quaeda and Bin Laden.

This man is JOHN MUHAMMED, an Islamic who was "sympathetic" to the 9/11 terrorists.

He's been out of the Army for years. He never received specialized training in sniping in the Army. He DIDN'T MAKE IT in the Army.

But the lead is: "Army Vet"

As a 20 year Army retiree, I deeply resent this, but I resent even more the politically correct culture that makes it impossible to call an islamic terrorist an islamic terrorist.

Lighten up. We don't know if this murderer is being considered or classified as an official Islamic terrorist. But we do know, he is a 10 year Army veteran. If he has any real connections to Islamic terrorism, that will eventually come out. It's very early in the final round of this investigation. Be patient.

I think most people here think (and some have thought throughout the killings) that the shooter is not some AQ agent sent straight from Osama's cave, but rather a wannabe, or sympathizer, or junior varisty second-tier peripheral player, kind of like the LAX shooter, the bus slasher, the acne plane crash kid, etc. The toll from these hangers-on is starting to add up.

Fred Barnes was losing his mind..he was totally pissed before on Brit. I have never seen him so angry. Especially when talking about how no apologies or cares about everyone saying it was going to be some young white right wing gun toting nut.

Fred spoke the truth...the panel was a little shaken you could tell. Good on Fred. When Brit said to Fred that he was gonna get a ton of e-mail on it tomorrow Fred shrugged and did not care one bit.

Other things put this wacko over the top besides anti-western ideologies. A crude mix of evil. The Islamic angle to this incident is more incidental than fundamental, but it's there.

You'll have to trust the public in discerning that this incident is not attributable to the US Army per se, although I have to admit the general public is dang stupid.

You are right... he is no "lifer". Funny how they make it sound like he received some specialized sniper training while in the military, just because he shot good. He changed his name to Mohammed, and I doubt his rampage had any motives concerning his previous service with the U.S. military.

This is just another way of blaming what happened on anything but what is responsible, Islam and John "Mohammed".

The only positive identification is his military connection. Yes he is a Muslim, but it would be inaccurate for a journalist to delve into speculation as to Islamicist connections as of yet.

I have no problem with holding off yet proclaiming the Muslim label. Everyone knows he is a Muslim by his name as it is; it is not rocket science to determine this.
