Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

I haven't checked this whole thread and have been listening to the news just for about 30 minutes, but my feeling is these guys aren't the snipers. So clever in their planning and getaways at shootings and they are found asleep in a rest area in Maryland?!. Doesn't compute.

They may have been a lot less "in" on the recent media coverage than we think.

If they were living out of a car, I don't see how they could have seen the coverage we've assumed. Makes me wonder if they are being directed by others who are watching it.

Armed Agents Detain Man on White House Grounds

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secret Service agents with their weapons drawn detained a man on Thursday on the White House grounds between the fence surrounding the complex and the north entrance to the president's residence.

The man was handcuffed by the agents and led away, according to a Reuters eyewitness.

Secret Service spokesman Brian Marr said, "An individual black male came over the fence on Pennsylvania Ave. and was taken into custody by Secret Service uniform division officers and is currently being interviewed by agents from the service."

President Bush (news - web sites) was speaking in North Carolina at the time of the incident.
