Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

More than that, Fox news reported that the two women store clerks shot in the Alabama robber (one dead, one wounded) never got a look at the robber(s) because they were shot sniper-style while walking across the parking lot to their car after locking up for the night.

Malvo's fingerprint has been tied positively to that robbery and apparently to one of the messages left in the DC-area snipings, and the credit card stolen from one of the clerks in the Alabama robbery was the account the "give us $10 million" folks were wanting the money to be deposited to.

Duck in a noose - seems to refer to an Indian (feather not dot) story about a rabbit boasting about how it was going to catch a duck in a noose and getting shown up by the duck. Doesn't make much sense.

BTW, wasn't there some sort of Indian/Hispanic individual reported initially, or have I gotten my snipers mixed up?

I think it will be split between the parking lot tipster and
the person who originally brought them to the attention of the authorites. Some one called the tipline and said they heard a guy talking about the murders who had more info than
was being talked about in the media.

It's amazing how this thing was nailed by former Military vets on FR. They tied the sniper to Military training and also said two were involved, one shooting and one driving the get-a-way car.

Maybe they should get the reward, if this pans out...:~)

A transcript of a press conference with Moose was posted several days ago - something along the lines: "We don't want this group targeted specifically and so are declining to go with a composite". Just which group didn't they want targeted? And does anyone think they would have held the composite if it had been a white guy? It's okay to target white guys in this country but no other group(s)? People are going to die if we continue with that crap. When a composite is available, it should be released ASAP, regardless of which group!
