Where were they living while in the DC area?
WMAL: Muhammad involved in incident in Baltimore Oct. 8th.
He converted to Islam about a year ago. Hmmm, that's right after 9/11, isn't it? Isn't that about the time those black nationalists in Portland converted?
More from WMAL: MOntgomery Co. police official now says the two being held are the sniper suspects.

as to the "composite"; -- remember, most of the early "witnesses" were pointing to "olive-skinned" peole, which these folks are surely not; We haven't seen a picture of the kid, yet. Plus there may be more people involved.

Catherine Herridge reporting that snipers had no ID but were identified by fingerprints. They're at "an undisclosed location" for their protection and for the protection of those who captured them.

Louis Farrakhan is a danger to this country.

LOL on being behind! I spent most of yesterday trying to follow the hostage situation in Moscow, and the sniper thread... and hundreds of posts behind in BOTH! My eyes feel as though they are looking in different directions! *smile*

"NBC news saying they are being charged on 6 counts of murders. What about the other 4?" They probably only have bullet matches on some of the victims, not all.

Looks like there will be more arrests before this is over.

The Seattle Times reports today the two were sympathetic to AQ and converts to Muslim. The article is on FR titled "2 from state arrested in D.C. sniper case". Excellent read - much info on the snipers. Would link but have to go until later in the afternoon.

All they would have had to say the first day or two was that the suspects were darker skinned, possibly hispanic, ME, or light black. And they should have made more of the Caprice sighting on Oct 3rd as well.
But noooo

It's pretty scary to hear the stuff coming from the New Black Panthers and knowing that it's not politically correct for the media to even bother reporting the dangers. I hope this sniper will wake people up to militant muslims in America, but I fear he won't. Your post is an absolute understatement!

May be jurisdictional. Capture was in MD. Other charges will come from VA.

The Feds should look into Farrakhan's 501C3.

Got 2 guys. Someone saw the car at a rest stop where they were sleeping. Taken into custody without incident. Being questioned now. Waiting for search warrant before they search the car.

Anybody else wondering about the significance of the "duck" message that Chief Moose read? If this guy isn't just a loon or a wannabe AQ, then could the message have ben a signal?
To: Samwise
>When all of this is wrapped up, someone needs to start a thread congratulating and thanking all of the hard-working worn-out law enforcement officers who have worked on this case.<
I agree!
As I said on another thread ... The police (INCLUDING Moose) did a DAMNED FINE JOB, I think. In the face of scorn and criticism, they maintained their professional cool and carried through to success.
