Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Thanks for the links.I still don't put much stock in Jamaica's record keeping abilities. With the exception of the Sandals Resorts,it's still pretty much a 3rd world country, at times, bordering on total civil breakdown.Seems like our government has a double standard regarding documentation for citizens vs aliens.Our paperwork must be absolutely perfect,no exceptions. The standards seem much stricter for US citizens, than for others.

Has anyone heard anything further on this since last nite? It appears that they're totally ignoring this, or have I missed something?..Last nite when the reporters were questioning the chief of police from ALA, the same reporter asked the chief twice about the camps and he totally ignored him...Now, if we could hear it home on tv, he HAD to hear the question asked...then someone asked another LE, and he said he knew nothing about it....Why are they choosing to turn their heads?

I talked to a good friend of mine tonight. He thinks these guys are fall guys. He told me to sit back and think about it, and ignore the media and LE details.

There is no way this 42 year-old man and 17 year old kid shot 13+ people and terrorized the nation's capital is his point of view (POV). And then to be caught in a rest stop asleep is beyond belief. They were set up. Sure they might be bad hombres, and killed a person or two, but no way they are the shooters of 13+ people.

He made me think hard about this with his common sense and wisdom. These are his views and I'm sharing them with you. I've been falling for the government line since last night when these two mysteriously appeared on the radar screen out of nowhere.

Food for thought FWIW. I'm heading to DC tomorrow, so I won't have a chance to read your replies tonight or tomorrow. Take care.

I'm not giving him a pass. I was the one willing to bet money the perps would never be caught because the Maryland PC police were out of their league. I would have lost on the getting caught part, but the MD, PC police have been pretty well proven to be out of their league when it comes to doing more than busting guys at parades because the mayor doesn;t like the Ten Commandments banner they're carrying.

However, most of my comments about him have been restricted to my opinion of how badly he handled this case...and I was afraid worse things might come of it. I still am, sort of. And still hope I'm wrong. I AM guilty of not being insulting. Figured it would be innapropriate in this case. Would have been ENTIRELY appropriate if it had gone on much longer.

I'm just speculating slimer. He was released into the custody of his mother. $1500 is a lot of money. The kid doesn't have a work record and who knows about the mother (if it is his mother).

The "father" met the kid at a homeless shelter doesn't make sense.

Something just doesn't jive.

Think we need to do a little DNA on these folks. The kid looks older than 17 and is a twin to his "adopted father".

G'night! I need to log off too...getting later and later...the posts keep piling and piling...and I just keep reading MORE AND MORE!! Can;t help it. Fascinating stuff...my brain feels like it's overheating though. It should reach critical mass, and then I'll be able to sleep. Hope this ice storm keeps up all night...then I can sleep in tomorrow.
