"We have the sniper in custody"
Now, our children can go back to school in peace. "Thank you, Lord".

When all of this is wrapped up, someone needs to start a thread congratulating and thanking all of the hard-working worn-out law enforcement officers who have worked on this case. You are SO right!!! I'm sending several emails today.
*One* of which I NEVER thought could ever be dragged from me...
Thanking MSNBC for their reporting and the integrity they showed in putting the safety of the investigation ahead of their rating.

Morning all! It was nice not to wake up to helicopters during the night (Im a quarter mile from the Beltway). Now I know why this is too good, but I can already hear the PC Nazis crawling out from under their rocks now that it is not a pimply faced white guy who played too many video games.
I also predict Muhammad will be quickly dropped in favor of Williams.
I better do some actual work today but Ill be lurking :)
IMHO,this has a McVeigh smell all over it. Mohammad is not going to talk if he has any kind of loose connection/relationship with a terrorists organization.

AQ wannabe's!Ding Ding, you win the grand prize! I hate to be a Thursday morning quarterback, but I called this one right about 2 weeks ago. I never thought it was AQ or an organized terrorist group necessarily. I suspected it was a home grown, LOCAL MUSLIM, from a LOCAL MOSQUE.
I would hate to think that the USA will start to see an insurgent terrorist Army within our borders, but I think that's what the future holds with these religion of peace types.

Wouldn't it be nice if they'd donate it to the families of the victims!

Who paid for their training at Ground Zero?

Stumpy is on Larry King tonight with his lawyer!

I bet President Bush will have just a little bit of a grin on his face today. It will be uplifting for him for sure. I would imagine there will be a LOT of people with smiles today!!

It's possible they were acting on their own, but Rita at Fox was reporting an hour ago some minor arrests were expected in connection to this case. Also, where did they get their $$ - stolen credit cards? Also -last night the Camp Ground Zero connection sounded solid according to a spokesman for the camp and according to reporters.

ABC news is reporting that John Allen Muhammad was dishonorably discharged. For what offense?

Norm upsets me...It takes him 15 minutes to make a table. It takes me 15 minutes to clean it off after din..din.

If the sniper shooting bullets match (not just .223 caliber) the tree stump,
and
if Muhammad is connected to the tree stump
then
the sniper(s) has been caught
and
there should be no more shooting.

Who paid for their training at Ground Zero? They were just saying on Fox that they did not train at Ground Zero.
To: areafiftyone
Maybe these guys decided to act on their own I doubt that, personally. I think more arrests are going to be made, and, frankly, neither of these guys looks bright enough to have done this alone.
The house in Tacoma, btw, was described as a "virtual motel for transients" in a news report on another thread. In other words, people coming and going all the time, staying briefly, etc.
There's more to this than those 2 guys, although whether we'll ever know about it is another matter.

That would be nice, I don't think I could accept the money.
To: Peach
Wouldn't the camp have info on their names? I hate this going back and forth!! If they went they should say yes and not keep saying that Camp Zero said they were never there. I guess they can't get any proof yet.

Shooting at Hillandale liquor store was on Sept. 14. Murders at liquor store in Montgomery, AL on Sept. 21. So were they moving back and forth?
