Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

Apparently some idiot in the press asked Rumsfeld today if he thinks that this has tarnished the military. Since Mohammed was in the military. Lord have mercy on fools such as that.

That's all that mattered. They were killing Americans. Simple. IMO, this isn't about race, it's about religion. Any moderate Muslim voices (and there are some) have long ago been silenced. They lost the microphone. Now, they are as frightened, maybe more so, as we are. These radical muslims don't care about skin color, IMO. They care if they can use Americans, if not, they'll kill us. Oh well, I'm preaching to the choir. I'm sorry.:)

I know I have said this twice already since AmericaninTokyo posted their pictures, but I don't know if it has something to do with Mohammad's suppose to be religion, but there is no way that he can deny Malvo is his child. Malvo is the very spit of Mohammad. Even named after Mohammad.

We are having increasing troubles over here in Meridian.

Surprisingly, Montgomery hasn't had all that much trouble. Actually quite safe for a city of almost 300,000.

Our biggest problem these days is our Moron Mayor Bobby not so Bright - you may have seen him earlier today - saying that Montgomery was glad to be of help in solving the killing in NEW ENGLAND!!!!! Virginia is in N.E.???? And he said it twice!

After waiting all dang day for the press conference, my stupid cable cut off while that dreadful county executive was talking. Cable still out. All TVs cable-ready and sans antennas, so there's no TV for me. And this is my big TV night! On top of the long-awaited press conference!

Anyway, my roommate called her boyfriend, who was watching the press conference. Now, this boy is given to hyperbole, but he said that Moose blew up at the press and stalked off after they kept asking questions he'd told them he wouldn't answer.

This is a big concern for me. I'll explain it if anyone here can verify what happened. Of course, as soon as my roommie got off the phone, I was back here to get the scoop, but I haven't seen any mention of it. Did Moose really have another tantrum? The boyfriend (whom I really can't stand, but that's another story) acted as if Moose'd gotten as upset as he did when the tarot card info was released. Is this true? Or was the much-despised boyfriend exaggerating as usual?

I am REAL tired of the newsies having all of Mohammads relatives on tv telling us what a nice guy he is. THROW UP. What about interviewing the victim families. Now that would be good, interesting too. I'd like to know how the dear hearts are doing.

The answer to HIM was "See a paychiatrist. But make sure it's a MUSLIM psychiatrist", because only another Muslim could understand the deranged individual's unique needs. There was no disclaimer or mention of the obvious discrepancy to the statement three posts back that Muslims do not suffer from mental illness.

My only question was as the murders spread out of Maryland and Chief Moose--who I did not have problems with--remained as the "voice" of the investigation.

Well, it is Connie Chung doing the intervew, too.
The family's experience with him is nearly 20 years old. They haven't been around him since he was a young man. After high school he went to work for a couple of years at a scrap metal company, married and soon after joined the military. When they did have contact with him it was contentious. After divorcing his first wife he took his son for a regular visit and then refused to return him. She had to get an attorney to get him back. She also had to sue him for back child child support. He took the child from his second marriage and left the country. That wife didn't get them back for about a year and a half. His brother's wife said when she heard they thought he was the sniper she hoped it wasn't true but she felt it could be.

I'm not a big Moose fan either, but I would not say he blew up at the press. He got a little short with the 'excuse me' comments a few times. However, he did not tell us much of anything either.

Scratch Cochran - he said last night he is finished as a Defense Attorney and even if he wasn't he wouldn't touch this case with a ten foot pole.

What he didn't say was, he opened an office here in DC, and he has been running typical sleazy Lawyer ads, almost exclusively on Cable, and saying everything except, 'If it doesn't fit, you must acquit'.
