Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.

I don't know. Didn't study that in crim law class, and I've never practised crim law. But I imagine states try to work out an agreed sequence among themselves, and that disputes are rare. Here, Maryland is probably the lead jurisdiction, having led the investigation.

No, in fact, I just watched the clip again of the Montgomery officer who spoke of being contacted by the task force. Saw a brief interview with the survivor and a sketch drawn of Malvo just after the Montgomery shooting. Malvo's fingerprint was found on a piece of paper at the scene. It was traced back to his INS hearing in Washington state. What you may have heard them say was that the gun used in Montgomery, a 22, was not the same gun as the sniper used.

Also, I think President Bush just flew over my House! He had a 4:30 CT speech at Auburn Univ today. He flew into Montgomery and was taken to Auburn (50 Miles) By Helicopter. Well A huge 2 Bladed Jolly Green just flew over headed in the direction of the airport and it had 2 APACHES as escort!!!!

Also, I hope these are the guys as I just found out this afternoon that I will be in Falls Church on business Next Wed-Fri.

There is still the 2nd ex-wife that lives in Maryland that has a white vehicle that they could have been driven at some point.

Oct. 3rd a Lookout for Chevy Caprice was put out after DC killing at night.

Oct. 8th a Baltimore policeman find John Mohammed in Chevy Caprice sleeping. He took tags and Drivers license info. Info put in database and guy wasn't researched until a couple of days ago.
