Overnite, two men arrested while sleeping in their car at a reststop in MD. John Mohammed aka John Williams and his stepson Lee Malvo. Mohammad is thought to be the likely shooter.
Don't forget the credit card, the remainder of the tarot card, pad the messages were wrote on.
I suppose technically that *could* be accurate. Koran study group at a military training camp? (Or did I miss something) I suppose that doesn't present any oddities...for a 'religion of peace' like Islam.
I'm doing a piece -- very fast -- for another publication about the Sniper. I need examples of the media being too eager to paint sniper as a disgruntled white right wing whacko. Concrete examples only please.

I live in the OKC metro area. I was there on April 19, 1995. Was standing at ground zero within 30 minutes of the blast. I stood in front of the LE command post with several high up FBI/OKC/State LE officials. I heard the initial reports and information. There is no question, that within 30 minutes of the blast, numerous witnesses interviewed gave descriptions of 2-3 middle eastern arab men. And mind you, this was before the real information came out about islamic terrorism against the US. These people interviewed were very clear that the suspects were ME. No questions. The initial BOLOS were for ME males. That went on for days, and then, almost as fast as those witnesses came forward and gave those descriptions, the FBI shut them down. I was there. I saw and heard. I remember high up LE officials crying and yelling statements about how we needed to nuke the arabs. This was not a mistake. These people saw this.
Glenn Beck is convinced, and so am I and that is why he made that statement.
And by the way, the most scared I have ever been in my life was at about 9:40 on April 19, 1995. I was standing with some other LE right in front of the crater, looking up at the bombed out building, and I'll never forget, a fireman on about the 3rd to 4th floor came up out of the rubble, and yelled, "another bomb" (something that was in the AFT office it turned out) but we all thought it was a bomb. I didn't immediately move. I just froze. A fireman, running at full tilt, grabbed me. Nearly tackled me. He was yelling, another bomb. Run for you life. I turned and started running north from the building. I had to crimb over rubble to the north where another building collapsed from the concussion of the explosion. But I ran as fast as I could for about 3 blocks, (to the FBI command post) The whole time, I just knew I was dead. I have never been that freightened.
Anyway, MET was involved in OKC. Nothing that can be said will ever change my mind on that. Too many people that day saw too much. I have read their statements. I have heard them talk and describe, that day and since. That many people cannot all be wrong. And these were people that were in no way connected to each other to be able to make that up. But our government has since blown them off.
Since 9/11, there is positive information that has connected several of the 9/11 hijackers to OKC. There is evidence that ATTA was even here. At the same motel where McVeigh was sighted.
