I did not say I could do better. However I'm not one to hide in my home and pray the bad man goes away. I don't yet have children so I only have my girlfriend and self to worry about. I'll admit having kids to worry about would change things. Closing schools is still a bad idea. A better response would be to increase school security. Put volunteers(armed) on the outside of the school when kids are coming and going. This may help.

Didn't Wayne LaPierre say that DemocRATS are willing to tolerate a certain level of violence if it furthers their agenda.

Then I have thought we might have to tell the terrorists, "stop the terrorism immediately or we will drop a nuclear bomb on country X." Of course we would have to be prepared to do that if the terrorism didn't cease.

There is a better way to do this. The U.S. could simply rattle off a list of a dozen or so major cities in Islamic countries that must be evacuated within 48 hours. Imagine the bedlam that would result, even if nothing happens after the 48 hours are up.

Next on my list would be the al Fuqra thugs. The home grown thugs, many of whom were recruited in prison by the black muslims. We have thousands of replies and posts on Free Republic about these al Fuqra groups in America. A common theme in their American encampments were firing ranges. The firing ranges were not used for training to shoot ducks or rabbits.

Next would be a deep al Qaeda cell with one or two trained snipers and four others to help them. The danger to al Qaeda, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia if an al Qaeda cell did this and word got out in America. The atomic bombing of Japan would be mild to what we would demand and get!

Last but not least this could be a Merc financed team, financed by some crazy who hates America and not necessarily a Islamofascist.

Regardless of who, what race, religion or political bent or whatever re the responsibility. Now the al Qaeda leadership knows how to really terrorize America with a few well placed sniper terrorist teams with a couple of home growners who know the roads in and around a Goron voting area with PC mayors and police chiefs.

OK, I'm no counter-insurgency expert but I have a little tip for the tactically challenged. EXTEND THE PERIMETER Guards at entrances are nothing but targets. Patrol any woods. Keep vehicles away. It is not that difficult.

Perhaps you are right, I don't know. Some have said that because they didn't claim responsibility, it isn't a terrorist group. However, although Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad (et al) are quick to claim responsibility, al Queda isn't.

Likewise, I could see where terrorists might demand ransom to acquire more targets or even to actually get the money (we've hit them in their pocketbook this past year.) But considering the discipline used to set up each kill and escape, I can't quite see them actually planning on making a "pickup." But that's just my two cents...
