al Qaida and all other enemies will now be watching very closely.

"How will the Americans react?", they will ponder in their dank, disgusting, flee-ridden hideouts. "Do we have a greater opportunity now?", they will slobber between bites of shish kebob half stuck in their beards. What is Saddam Hussein thinking as he sits in a Baghdad palace and his interpreter explains what is coming in on the CNN?

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MOMENT IN OUR ENTIRE AMERICAN HISTORY, FOLKS. We are all now 'on stage' as it were. Stagetime. This is our worldwide casting call. Truly, it can be said, 'The Whole World Is Watching'....

If we respond like Rosie O'Donell and Donahue and Richard Simmons and Al Gore, we have lost. We will have surely lost. But if we respond like George Washington and Patrick Henry and the boys of Little Round Top and Ronald Reagan, they will be afraid.

If they see us crying, and whimpering and panicking and shutting down a whole National Capital region because parents pull their kids from school in MD, VA and DC and they need to take off work to do so, why they will lick their filthy Arabic chops.

If they see Americans streaming to buy guns for self defense, cooperating, patriotic, strong and united, etc, they will think again.

IN AMERICA, THIS IS OUR GOLDEN CHANCE TO SHOW THAT OUR 'PATRIOTISM' WHICH GUSHED UP AFTER SEPTEMBER 11TH, IS REALLY DEEPER THAN A CAR BUMPER STICKER OR AN AMERICAN FLAG BEAR LAPEL PIN.

President Bush should now, even with his busy schedule and all, address the nation. He needs to remind us who we are.

"Americans, who are we? Who are we really?"

VERY well said AmericanInToyko. You perfectly captured what so many of us feel, and fear. President Bush talked about this after 9/11, too. That this was our time to show what we are made of. Let us pray it's the stuff that will make the "greatest generation" proud and make their sacrifices worthwhile.

I agree completely. I thought the same thing about all the pissing & moaning about the 911 anniversary where the weak sisters wanted to cry about what happened to us instead of rally around what we're going to do to them. For all I know the limp-wristed response to the anniversary gave aid and comfort to this lone rifleman who has the entire capital pinned down. And people are still whining about posse comitatus. People need to get used to the idea of the military operating in the homeland because we HAVE BEEN infiltrated and we ARE at war whether we like it or not. It is time for ethnic cleansing by deportation and by internment. And it is time for helicopter patrols over the borders with a clear message that invading our sovereignty means death.

Good God what contempt our enemy must have for us after seeing this... this... institutionalized cowardice. We need a war and we need a draft NOW if for no other reason than to get some of the pansies killed off and put some spine back into this country.

The whole world want some of us? Fine. Lets get it on. The bombing starts in five minutes.
