Moose has really had a seriously sick and defeated look on his faceand so did everyone around him--they looked stricken
To: My Favorite Headache
On that note I really want them to release a sample of the audio and a picture of that french sniper that is missing/awol.

Seems to me there is an opportunity for someone to make a fortune selling bulletproof parkas.
When they finally catch this ba...rd, I hope he his still alive and spends many tortured years on death row waiting for his eventual punishment and appointment with his Maker.
God bless you and keep you and your family safe.

I had the exact same thought! C'mon now -- the very folks making fun of how Moose talks are now reading all kinds of hidden meaning into something he said?!? I'm not buying it.
The killer is causing people to change their lives -- Moose is saying it's not necessary to do so. Simple. No terrorist angle required.
Not to say it can't be terrorists, but I think that's probably more a case of wishful thinking by some on this thread.

Well, for starters, shots fired would either be a)killing the terrorist or b)him killing someone hunting him.
If no shots are fired as a result of the militia on the streets, then we're all safe, then, aren't we?

Agreed. The Emotion Detector was/is running in full effect here.

You notice the shoulders slumped and head down. Not a confident look at all.

I'm sure the authors of the First Amendment would be surprised to hear that. Apparently god_is_everywhere except in Muslims, huh?

"Somebody give the Moose a pillow case and a flashlight and send him snipe hunting."LOL...(sadly)...he's ALREADY on a snipe hunt. This whole investigation has had all the EARMARKS of a snipe hunt from the very beginning.
I feel a little sorry for chief Mosse, because he's in WAAAY over his head on this. Maryland cops have been basically enforcing the PC agendas of state officials for years now...this is not a Politically Correct case.
The Maryland police are totally unequipped to solve it.

Good post, perceptive. Prayers for Chief Moose and all the LE.

A by-product of all this will surely be a rise in home-schooling.

Alpha Tango is a strike unit. I am going with the original poster here if he thinks it is Alpha Tango in a cell form setting us up.

This isn't about illegal immigration...

Prior to discounting observations as wishful thinking, please look at the reposted list below. I welcome you comments after you read the excerpts below.

The Los Angeles Times also reported Tuesday that unidentified federal agents said the letter was "very lengthy" and poorly worded, bordering on broken English.
Some reports indicated that the caller had disguised his voice, spoke with a heavy foreign accent and at one point repeated the words "I am God" originally found on a tarot card left near where a 13-year-old was shot in Bowie, Md.
The French defense ministry notified Interpol on Monday that a French army deserter and known marksman had gone missing while on vacation in North America.
Fox News learned Monday that the soldier, described as 25 years old and with the first name of Georges, went missing on Sept. 2 after making cash withdrawals on his credit card in the United States.
He had seen active duty as a peacekeeper in former Yugoslavia, and friends characterized him as a secretive, solitary type who had spent a previous vacation alone in the Corsican mountains.

You have a rather slanted view of the effectiveness of law enforcement. If a criminal does not fall into their hands, cops are just about 100% ineffective. When was the last time a housebreak or mugging was solved in your town if it took more work than driving to the nearest crackhouse and rousting the usual suspects? What on Earth would inspire you to "trust" law enforcement in a case like this where they have amply demonstrated an ability not to just fail to solve it, but to screw it up big-time.
As to why I think the shooter is here illegally, one reason is the phone call. If we do not know where the call originated, it originated overseas in a hostile country, or hostile area of an underdeveloped country.

You notice the shoulders slumped and head down. Not a confident look at all. Weight of the world, Hank. If a kid gets shot, Moose will blame himself. I'd really hate to be in his shoes right now.
And to hell with the folks who're sitting safe and comfortable at their keyboards taking potshots at the man.
