I had the exact same thought!

C'mon now -- the very folks making fun of how Moose talks are now reading all kinds of hidden meaning into something he said?!? I'm not buying it.

The killer is causing people to change their lives -- Moose is saying it's not necessary to do so. Simple. No terrorist angle required.

Not to say it can't be terrorists, but I think that's probably more a case of wishful thinking by some on this thread.

Prior to discounting observations as wishful thinking, please look at the reposted list below. I welcome you comments after you read the excerpts below.

The Los Angeles Times also reported Tuesday that unidentified federal agents said the letter was "very lengthy" and poorly worded, bordering on broken English.

Some reports indicated that the caller had disguised his voice, spoke with a heavy foreign accent and at one point repeated the words "I am God" originally found on a tarot card left near where a 13-year-old was shot in Bowie, Md.

The French defense ministry notified Interpol on Monday that a French army deserter and known marksman had gone missing while on vacation in North America.

Fox News learned Monday that the soldier, described as 25 years old and with the first name of Georges, went missing on Sept. 2 after making cash withdrawals on his credit card in the United States.

He had seen active duty as a peacekeeper in former Yugoslavia, and friends characterized him as a secretive, solitary type who had spent a previous vacation alone in the Corsican mountains.

I don't think Moose INTENDED to convey the impression that the sniper is a political terrorist; what I meant was that when he started to talk about Americans being strong and guarding our way of life it seemed to me that he was UNCONSCIOUSLY using those tropes because of his personal belief that the sniper is a political terrorist.

Whether Moose is AA (affirmative action) or SM (super man) I would not like to be in his shoes right now. I know what is it like to be called on and not have the answer to the question...this poor man has the whole country watching him in the middle of a great big old CF (custer f...) never mind.
