Sigh. Fox is now asking people who are listening to them on satellite radio and are caught in the traffic to call and tell them what it's like.

They may not know. In Spain, they often refer to the whole area as "el antiguo Yugoslavia," and I think the French use the same phrase (in French, of course). Probably the English source translated it directly from the French report.

Channel 4 is talking to resident of Apt Building who walks her dog in the park adjacent to the Bus. She says they are locked in their apts. Also she says the land drops off very quickly as you go back from the door of the bus, meaning the shooter would be shooting up, if he was in the park straight out from the bus door.

I hope they check the trees
(I think he climbs trees to gain elevation to shoot over traffic or as in this case)

Bookmark this site and in a couple of days they will have the transcripts up for the 10/21/02 Nachman Show & Abrams Report. They gave step by step reports of how things went down since the Saturday night shooting. If their sources are wrong, then they are wrong but this is the only media that went into sensible detail about it.

i'll eat the requisite crow if this turns out to be a domestic loony,

Fox reports that the police are stopping all cars, because they have another vehicle they are looking for besides a white van. No descriptioin was given.

The shooter, IMHO, seems to be keying off Moose. And this is his response to Moose, an "in your face" gesture. We're not dealing with a stable person, after all, because very few stable people decide to become serial killers.
