Shep on Fox News was talking about something, (didn't catch what it was) but he made the comment, "that may be a bit farther than we want to go."
At this point, what the hell more could they possibly say?

We let the kids go around the neighborhood than we load them and their pals into the minivan and it's off to the rich neighborhoods to get the full-size candy bars!

How To Appear To One's Boss That One's Working My niece showed me on an online game she plays: it has a "Panic Button" that you hit if you need to. A spreadsheet with "market share" charts and figures comes up automatically.

How To Appear To One's Boss That One's Working, When One's Really Staying Abreast Of Breaking News. There used to be a software you could buy called "The Boss," and it installed a two-key macro that popped up a spreadsheet to cover your video game or whatever when "the boss" appeared.
The problem is, I'm my own boss. All I know is that I'm not getting enough work done. Who to fire?

I'm guessing we get too much or too little information. :)

Well, in my part of the country it doesn't hurt to stock up anyway, in case of blizzards and/or ice storms. Florida people can look at it as "hurricane supplies." All you are doing is moving grocery money forward into the fall and storing it in the basement or pantry. It's even good to have it on hand in case everyone comes down with the flu.
This is not cowardice. This is living by the old Boy Scout motto "Be prepared."

Ole Jimmy has already taken care of it

Both characters had to appear to look calm and tell the cops "No, everything's okay. I don't know anything," while pleading with their eyes that everything's NOT OKAY.In that case, blink in Morse code. Three short, three long, three short, will get the message across...

I still think Chief Moose looks a little like Chris Tucker.!

Darlin',
I'd read that article you linked to several months ago, and couldn't believe this could be happening in Alabama. Marion, AL (home of Marion Institute - one of our finest military schools) is a small community where everybody knows everybody. A friend of mine has family there and I asked her to get me a little background on the camp if at all possible. When she called her family they had already seen the ABC article and investigated the place.
From the article (bold is mine):
The site, since taken down by British authorities, described what seemed to be the Alabama camp, including live-fire exercises at a state-of-the-art shooting range in the United States something that would not be legal in Britain.
"In the United States, it is not illegal for anyone to receive military training, high-grade military training," said Rohan Gunaratna, author of Inside Al Qaeda.
The actual owners of camp, who are also British, say it was used primarily to train law enforcement personnel. Officials consider them unwitting accomplices. The camp owners declined to talk to ABCNEWS.
They claim the information in the article is completely false. The camp was used for law enforcement training and as a private shooting range. Furthermore, if Al Queda were indeed in Marion, they would stick out like a sore thumb. (I speak southern, folks in Marion speak extreme southern.)
FWIW, I thought I'd share this with you since it is alleged to have happened in my backyard.

Did he say anything worthwhile? BTW, meant martial law as something that might need to be declared in the near future to dampen things down.
But as long the the blowdried ones are talking zodiac, sonofsam etc. that's not feasible. Moment they say jihadis, then a whole new scenario comes into play.
To: Chemist_Geek; All
OK...how many people practiced blinking in Morse Code? LOL!
To: rintense
Too much speculation, not enough real information.
To: slimer
False Moose Alert? Wasn't he supposed to say something over there about this time?
