Could you get me some milk?

The press pursuing this line of questioning gets no specific reponse but does racchet up the level of public fear/concern. THIS ISN'T HELPFUL!!!!!

I still consider the area home thought I haven't been back for years. It's hard when it hits "home". I moved to Rockville when I was 8 and stiil miss the area.
I will be praying for you and your family.
Study hard!

FNC is now saying Moose is "LEAD investigator". I thought that was emphatically pronounced.
If that is true I suppose wisdom would dictate that I should begin to shake.
If anyone is willing to comment on Moose based on his work and character in other parts of the country either on the forum or by freepmail I would appreciate it.

I have to go run a few errands - you know - like pick up some laundry detergent to use for my very "backed-up" laundry, some food - so that I can cook for a change, you know, things like that. LOL LOL! You're not the only one. I should stay away from my computer...
To: bonfire
LOL - that is - if I can tear myself away from FR!!

No doubt he's under an incredible amount of strain, I can't even imagine. I really feel for him! Because regardless of how effective or ineffective he has appeared through all this, the man and his department have been thrust into a nearly impossible situation and they desperately need our prayers.

I didn't see all the press conference. What I did see did not look promising. If Moose said something effective, helpful, factual, and encouraging, then I do apologize for negative input. If not, then...
To: David
Bush is a one-term president in all events because of the economy i got $10 says you're wrong ...
(proceeds to FR ?)
To: MasonGal
Um, could you get some for me?
I'm still going to put up that thread about "Helpful Hints for Living and Cooking during Breaking News" some time, but I honestly thought it would be in bad taste during this sniper attacks......some day when we need a laugh, I will.
To: David
Like hell.....
Bash Bush on another thread....not here.

I'd like to see him "share" this responsibility.....the less pressure he has, the better he will hold up.
To: Howlin
Fantasy.
President Bush comes on to announce the imminent use of nukes in the muddleeast unless the shooter(s) stop.
To: Howlin
We had some pretty SWIFT conversations and everybody there "got it" without having to stop and explain. Quite unlike me, especially at work. When I drop a news tidbit on them they all look at me as if I made something up...until they read it in the next day's paper. Now they think I'm psychic....I'm thinking of charging them.
To: Howlin
It gets really bad when there is breaking news and everyone is home. They figure I'm on the computer "reading the news" , I don't need the TV's, too!:)
To: All
Now that the press conference is over, lets see how close FOX's talking points are to ours on FR

Does it seem like he was out there longer than usual, taking questions today. Maybe they think it is possible the psycho is watching new conferences in person.
Chief Moose does look defeated; the strain definitely showing. I feel for him but think he is in over his head.
To: Howlin
It's just my opinion, but I think somebody needs to tell the press that they are NOT an arm of law enforcement.
True, very true. Unfortunately, we need them, afterall they are one of our topics of criticism.
To: Letitring
OK..instead of being critical, why don't you come up with a few suggestions to help Chief Moose out here?
Start with what should Chief Moose DO when he gets a note from the Shooter who says something like "I'm gonna kill a kid at a School...when you open them again"...Huh? What would you do? Just a hypothetical, mind you.
