Yes. The strain really shows today.

I noticed that Nancy Demme--Moose's #2--looked exhausted this morning. She had deep circles under her eyes that makeup failed to cover.

That is Doug Duncan, Democrat county executive of Montgomery County. Kind of a publicity hog but a pretty good guy. Many Montgomery County residents wish he had run for governor against KKT.

Victim is 35

The shooting today was a slap at Moose ....the shooters went back to his county....that's big. The shooter usually uses a wooded area for cover .. they should be staking out these areas if they can

I think we ALL have that in common...once you're a news junkie, where do you stop? LOL.

Same here when my wife asks me about anything in the news--FR has the answers a day or a week early

Man, even lie to the perp if necessary. Do whatever to attempt to get some control here. The only thing that will bring this guy(s) down is the loss of control on their part. Do whatever it takes to get that control. You can never win a war when you are simply being reactive. You must be proactive. Everything heretofore by the LEAs has been merely "reactive". Be proactive. Seize control. Do as George C Scott said in "Patton". "Take him by the nose, kick the hell out of him all the time, and go through him like crap through a goose".

Agreed. Lay off Moose. He's the spokesman doing what the Feds want him to say.
Blaming him is stupid. He's doing the best he can with the restrictions placed on him about the dissemination of info from higher up....FBI, WH.

Here's another test for ya: do you ever get confused about WHEN you heard something because FR has news so fast? Sometimes when I hear stuff on regular news sources, I think it's OLD NEWS. And all this time, I thought it was just me.
Me too!

The French Defense Ministry spokesman said,
"This soldier has a very, very good reputation as a marksman."
He was given permission to travel to Canada and the US for the month of August, he had plans to visit Chicago. He was described as 25 years old, they only released his first name, Georges. Apparently, he made cash withdrawals on his credit card on 2 Sept. somewhere in the US then disappeared. He is a French citizen, he may have some Yugoslavian heritage but according to the spokesman he spent some time in Yugoslavia as part of the peacekeeping force. No big surprise that friends have said he is somewhat secretive, a loner.

I think I was up to 2 a.m. this morning on FR and when I finally laid down, thought that the sniper would hit before daylight and LE probably knew that too.

" Okay, if the perps are Al Queda terrorist or anyother foreign terrorist and the government keep this from the public, what do you think GWB's chances are of being reelectd?" No effect. Bush is a one-term president in all events because of the economy.

I had the first meeting of the NC Chapter of the FR Network at my house. I cannot tell you how great it was to be with people who were "all on the same page," if you will. We had some pretty SWIFT conversations and everybody there "got it" without having to stop and explain.
It was swell.

Moose is anything BUT that. I've seen him stumble, fumble, get VERY angry, chew the media out, multiple times, even cried, for Pete's sake. Give me strength. He says really rude things to these reporters who ask valid questions. These COps look totally clueless. Not very confidence inspiring, imo.
To: MasonGal
That's funny - my husband will sometimes ask me if I've heard something in the news - and I already heard about it a week or two before - on FR, of course!! LOL Same here .. LOL

Thanks for the information! Pinging a couple of other folks.

I'll have to get caught up later - I have to go run a few errands - you know - like pick up some laundry detergent to use for my very "backed-up" laundry, some food - so that I can cook for a change, you know, things like that. LOL
Seriously - I am feeling rather leary about even driving to Target - and I'm 12 hours away from the DC area. I find myself looking over my shoulder all the time now - trying to observe my surroundings.
To: swarthyguy
I agree.
To: Catspaw
I think you are 100% correct judging from the answers we heard just a few minutes ago. They also said to not judge one community by what another does...wrt:the school closings.
